I've come to realize that doctrine is the biggest form of IDOLATRY in Christendom. Its divisiveness is seen in the Great Schism and the Protestant Reformation. The Catholic Church holds it's authority as equal to Scripture.

The closest Scripture comes to a doctrinal purity test is Romans 10:9, which is too simple for IDOLATORS. @amigo de christo's "interfaith" obsession has caused me to put him on ignore as he hijacks every thread with it. As you said, focus on what we have in common. IMO, that is an extension of Phillipians 4:8.

kinda odd . you do realize that we have many anti christs on this earth . Even now .
yet some of them are cloaked in wool , and many sure seem to preach another go spell
and many even accept sins , certain ones .
BUT WE JUST SUPPOSED TO SHUT UP and GET ALONG and FIND out wha we have in common .

Try reading the bible for Just yourself again . When evil is allowed to remain
it always brings more . Correction , sound doctrine , TRUTH , IS a necessity . wake up wrangler

Behold denies a born again person to sin,

What Paul teaches is that "God hath made Jesus to BE SIN" for the born again.... as "the ONE TIME>..,. Eternal Sacrifice for sin".

And this BLOOD ATONEMENT, that is the NEW COVENANT, also took care of the Law, so that the born again is not "Under the Law but under (God's) Grace".

Now, if you are under the law, then the Law can define what you do, as sin, transgression, iniquity, and evil, and rebellion...ect.
But because "God hath made Jesus to be SIN for us"", as "the one time ETERNAL Sacrifice for sin".........then that takes care of the sin of a born again Christian, FOREVER.

And because the born again "is NOT = UNDER THE LAW, but Unde (God's) Grace".......then the Law can never ever again define what a Christian does as sin, iniquity, transgression, or evil, or rebellion.

Now this does not mean that the Christian is going to be perfect, in behavior........it simply means that God's Grace has taken the Law away from the Born again, so that the Law can't define you as a sinner or your deeds as sin, ever again.

Eternal Result?

"Where there is no LAW, there is no Transgression (sin)".... found.

The Born again, are born again as "In Christ", and "one with God".
The Born again is BIRTHED Spiritually by God's Holy Spirit, INTO the KOG..

Now, is there any sin in the KOG?
Is there any Sin found in God?
Is there any Sin found in Christ?

And the born again is "in Christ"..."one with God".....forever birthed into the KOG........and there is no sin found there, because there is no Moses Law found there..., and that is why the born again are "made free from Sin"....forever.

People call the RCC evil or demonic or Satanic but that's nonsense, Catholics don't worship Satan, they worship Jesus Christ just like every other Christian.
Yes there are Catholic doctrines that I question, mainly the Marian ones.

But

People love to focus on doctrinal differences that divide us. That's the will of the evil one.

Me too. I find it out that Protestants refuse to even call them Christians. The say they, "They are Catholic but I am Christian."

Having said that, I consider the beginning of the RCC to be in the 11 century at the Great Schism. IMO, the corruption of the church began before the compiling of the Bible. In fact, the compiling was a reaction to the corruption. (See the Arian controversy, When Jesus Became God by Richard Rubenstein and my private email to you.)

Putting that aside, it is hard to compile a list of books on Christianity and exclude the writings of those who reportedly walked with Christ.

Agreed. They are the experts in exorcism, keepers of more relics than any other church and have a tradition as old as the Orthodox Church in the East. I've come to reject their claim their organization began with Peter for Paul was the Apostle to the Gentiles and the RCC has HQ in Gentile Rome.

Having said that, their recent scandals regarding child molestation does not keep them apart from the demonic and Satanic.
