Of course the "king of the south" is the U.S. and/or her allies, (and include Israel), which if with the "consent" of the U.S. and associated allies were to attack a strategic nation (Pakistan) to deprive Iran of coveted ill-gotten-gain, -- it COULD start the Battle of Armageddon (Ezekiel 38) where Russia, Iran, Sudan, & Libya would converge against Israel from the North (Russia), the East (Iran), and the South (Sudan & Libya crossing over the Suez):
Certainly IRAN would be embolden to attack Israel if it had sufficient weapons scattered across sufficient deployments in order to overwhelm Israel's Intelligence Agency's ability to track and thwart each potential "targeting". And for Israel to deny such an opportunity might equally be sufficient cause to attack regardless of the excess weapons.

The reason Pakistan got away with sponsoring the Taliban and al Qaida is its nuclear arsenal. And now the people who rolled over on Pakistan want to give nukes to Iran. Imagine what Iran will do when it has 160 nuclear warheads.
