1970s. A woman asked my dad to crawl through her window, and go through kitchen to open door. It was locked. My dad asks her. Why can't you do it ???

She told my dad. Because, there are two Siamese cats in the kitchen, sitting near the window.

My dad said. Good luck !! .

I love animals myself. Take care.

So she had watch cats instead of watch dogs.

My cat tried to potty train herself.
Now we call her, Blue.

And she always smells wildflower fresh.

Smart cat. Who would have their own bathroom if they were my cat. lol

One of my friends in SoFla also trained his cat to use the toilet, long before the internet. But the cat necessarily had to have his own bathroom. The trick is to put a sheet of this sheet of plastic or rubber over the toilet bowl with a chemical scent that attracts the cat. (I assume it's the same stuff they put in kitty litter.) Once kitty gets used to coming to the toilet and standing on the edge of the bowl to do his business, you remove the rubber sheet.

That was one smart cat. Even if he never did learn how to flush.

I wish I could teach the Sneaky Labrador to use the john.
