Platonism conflicts with the Gospel. Remember the first Christian heresy in Scripture, that Christ was a Spirit? The Gospel teaches a real man in a regular human body walked on water, died, was raised by God to life in a glorified body and physically ascended into heaven. It teaches a soulful experience - as well as spiritual. It’s not all types and shadows.

The sadducees did as many do . THEY TWISTED what doctrine they thought they knew
into a swiss cheeze and pretzle omelet .
Most them leaders know only enough truth to make themselves a danger to themselves and all who
believed them . Sadly much like a lot of chrisetendom today .
AS if the saducees even followed or knew torah . Had they known torah , had they heard torah
Had they believed moses , had they had faith as did abraham , THEY HAD BELEIVED GOD
as did abraham . THEY had beleived moses words for HE SPOKE of JESUS .

The works you do to earn salvation , which can't be done.
And works you do after you been saved which lean more towards doing things for others than for oneself.
Feed the hungry, pray for each other, these things are good works.
And these good works you do because of the faith that is in you. and not only faith but the love of God is in you.

Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.

actually that is a lovely reminder . SO TOO IS THIS ONE .
What would all those so called good works of doing for others even mean
FOR THE ONE who rejects and believes not THE TESTIMONY that GOD gave of HIS SON ,
THUS CALLING GOD A LIAR .
So all the lovey do and false efforts to love ones neighbor means absolultey DOO tha DOO
if one believes NOT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD < IS THE CHRIST OF GOD
that HE DID pay the price of our sins , was crucfied and DID rise again the third day .
SO TAKE THAT ANTI CHRIST Ecumeincal interfaith intereligoius dialgoue .

IT knows not THE WHOLE TRUTH .
