If you want to be better than other sinners--- i would suggest a person check out the Mormon church and the book of mormon .

But now if you want to be christian There is no such heavy and impossable burden placed on you as in mormonism or its book . One simply trust in Jesus his perfect record of goodness in our sinful place
and his innocent death in our sinful stead .

the christian faith is based soly on Christ his perfect merits in the sinners stead alone .

The true christian faith recognizes mans sinfulnmess and Jesus his PERFECT WORKS of goodness in mans sinful stead.

AH YOU SAY WE MUST BE good we must live right or we are not Christian . oh really

IF you think that------ you would make a mighty fine Mormon .

but here is what a christian believes

Romans 4:5
5 However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness.

beleive it.

The book of mormon is pure fairytale to the enth degree. There is a stiff penalty for adding to the word of God in gods word. Revelation 22:18, Deuteronomy 4:2 and Proverbs 30:6.

God bless :)

Agreed Gumby!

As for us being better than others...Absolutely not, we are all sinners. Being Christian does not make us perfect and there is only One who is perfect. But our day will come soon, when we will no longer be sinners and be perfect!!
