Where does the Bible say the Bible must be in context or contextual?

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life.

How does the context of this verse make Him not the way, the truth, and the life?

is not even one word of God still the word of God?

easily, by transferring that understanding to Jesus, rather than Christ, imo.
Most believers today are likely in Jesus Cults
not that that is the worst place to be or anything i guess

Word is heard, isnt it? Not written in a Book, which is i guess why that cannot be Quoted

In other words create a problem, say it’s terrible and provide a solution, the solution is bad but not as bad as the problem you created in the 1st place, now my head hurts! Lol

I doubt you understand your own question, possibly even the word 'context'

Of course, it is the word of God in context or out of context. But what context does is give you a correct understanding of what the verse means and gives you supporting verses to back up what the verse says.

Proof-texting is the habit of taking a verse out of context and making it say what you want it to say. Too much of our preaching today is based on proof-texting so the hearer never learns the true meaning of the verse. All they get is the meaning that the preacher wants you to have.

And quite frankly, proof-texting preaching is lazy in the extreme because it shows that the preacher can't be bothered to search the scriptures to get the full meaning of the verse in question.

Until I know what the context of any verse or passage is I am not arrogant enough to put a finger to keyboard and deceive those reading.
