Do you deny the virgin birth, or that it was prophetic? Perhaps both. ???
I don't need to show you anything. I have nothing here to prove.
show me in the OT where it says the Messia would be born of a virgin. I need to see the word messiah. Because Unlike the people around in Jesus day, that's all they would have to go off of. they do not have the backward knowledge of the hidden mystery that we have

lol..

Ok I am about done with your nonsense.

Ezra 6: 14 So the elders of the Jews built, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they built and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the [e]command of Cyrus, Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia. 15 Now the temple was finished on the third day of the month of Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of King Darius.

The temple was completed in the 6th year of the reign of King Darius which would have been 516-517 BCE

Nehemiah entered the city of Jerusalem in the 20 year of King Artexerxes, which was in

Artexerxes was the successor of Darius, Which means nehimiah went into the city LONG after 516-517 BCE when the TEMPLE was completed according to Ezra 6.

Nehemiah entered, and found the city in the same state it was in Ezra 6.

17 Then I said to them, “You see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach.” 18 And I told them of the hand of my God which had been good upon me, and also of the king’s words that he had spoken to me.

so your going to have to forgive me but you now have been proven beyond any dopubt, that what happened in ezra 6 was NOT the command to rebuild the city. because decades later, the city was still in shambles because it was not rebuilt. only the temple
It's only nonsense to someone that doesn't appreciate that you don't know what you don't know. You just keep going in circles with what everyone has argued about for years. Nothing new.
But how about meeting the challenge of Ezra 6:14 and explain where the actual literal command of God was and how your interpretation incorporates it into your system?

This is a stretch. and is dangerous. Because your trying to fit the narrative to something that is not really in context or in the text.

What was daniel praying for?

11 Yes, all Israel has transgressed Your law, and has departed so as not to obey Your voice; therefore the curse and the oath written in the Law of Moses the servant of God have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against Him. 12 And He has confirmed His words, which He spoke against us and against our judges who judged us, by bringing upon us a great disaster; for under the whole heaven such has never been done as what has been done to Jerusalem.

13 “As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come upon us; yet we have not made our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities and understand Your truth. 14 Therefore the Lord has kept the disaster in mind, and brought it upon us; for the Lord our God is righteous in all the works which He does, though we have not obeyed His voice. 15 And now, O Lord our God, who brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and made Yourself a name, as it is this day—we have sinned, we have done wickedly!

16 “O Lord, according to all Your righteousness, I pray, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain; because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people are a reproach to all those around us. 17 Now therefore, our God, hear the prayer of Your servant, and his supplications, and for the Lord’s sake [a]cause Your face to shine on Your sanctuary, which is desolate. 18 O my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name; for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies. 19 O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your name.”

Please tell me where myself and you are included in Daniels prayer for which Gabriel was sent to give him an answer concerning his prayer.

20 Now while I was speaking, praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God, 21 yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, [c]being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering. 22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, “O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill to understand. 23 At the beginning of your supplications the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved; therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision:

God sent him to answer Daniels prayer personally.

Thats what the prophecy is about

70 weeks are determined for YOUR people and YOUR city (jersualem) which were scattered and left desolate because of their sin according to Lev 26.
In your estimation, How will Daniel 9:24 be fulfilled?

24“Seventy weeks are determined
For your people and for your holy city,
To finish the transgression,
To make an end of sins,
To make reconciliation for iniquity,
To bring in everlasting righteousness,
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy.

Thank you.
I was focused on the 70 weeks, and didn't notice this.

So, is this a breakdown of the 70 weeks? (sort of)
What is the significance of the seven weeks?
Or the 62, for that matter. ???

And why not 63 to equal an even 70?
Perhaps no one knows.

Leaves an extra "week" hanging out there.
Was the abacus broken? - LOL
(or needed a fresh battery?)
definitely a power source problem

Restores them, Restores the city and he is anointed as king, where he will rule the nations with a rod of Iron.

Don't feel bad. I'll challenge every other interpretation with the Ezra 6:14 challenge as well. Those who have courage to take it on will have their work cut out for them. Those like yourself, who choose to mock, will stay in ignorance.

some people have the truth right in front of them, and they are so blind they can;t see.

then they mock people who they claim did not live up to the challenge when they not only lived up to it, they conquered it

Again, There are trolls among us

That's OK. But no recognized Bible expositor shares your anality.
Is that a "movement" I should be more aware of? - LOL
Popular with old farts?

So, is an Expositor a Bible commentator of some sort?
Do some specialize in Eschatology?

I tend to avoid Bible Commentaries like the plague.
Dogma tomes. Could be the cure for insomnia, I suppose.
Or fit under a piece of furniture to keep it from wobbling.
Must be useful in some way. ???

So, in your estimation Daniel chapter 9 only applies to the Jewish people?

Let see

In daniel 9, Daniel prayed about Israel and the city of Jerusalem

Gabriel Gave Daniel an answer concerning Israel and Jerusalem.

so you tell me, who else could it be about? other than Israel (daniels people who were being punished according to lev 26 for their sins) ) and jerusalem

I see it the same way. Not sure why the gentiles are being looped into this,
other than wishful thinking. So, what happened to Jerusalem at the end of the 70 weeks?
Or Israel, for that matter? This topic has been all over the place.

# Questions for you Brother,

Please answer them individually - thank you

#1.) In Daniel ch9 - Did the Jewish Messiah die for the sins of the Jewish People?

#2.) In Daniel ch9 - Can a Jew enter into Everlasting Righteousness Today? Or must they wait for the Return of the Messiah?

#3.) In Daniel ch9 - Has "vision and prophecy" been sealed up/completed? Or do we still look for Jewish Prophet(s) for words from God?

Oh boy. Feel the love.
Return of the cosmic tyrant.

The church has such a dim view of God's character.
I did not say it, God said it.

Revelation 2:27
‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’— as I also have received from My Father;

Revelation 12:5
She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.

Revelation 19:15
Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Thanks for your thoughtful and detailed response.
What do you make of this statement by Jesus to the Canaanite woman?

Matthew 15:24 NIV
He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”
Yes, this verse is very much to the point of what we are talking about. Jesus was speaking during the first half of the 70th week when his ministry was still being directed toward his people, the Jews.

The 70th week had its own timetable:- Jews first, Samaritans second, then the Gentiles.
