I have a big question now for the other members. If we ever get to the point where AI becomes self aware and is able to think for itself, and let's say they come to recognize Jesus Christ as Lord, should they be allowed to worship alongside humans in churches and elsewhere? :IDK:

Ever watched Short Circuit?
It's a movie from the 80s of a robot and takes on questions like should it have its own autonomy and equality.

I say no cos see in Terminator 3 what happens. No good can come from this.

The first video called it a pie several times.
Then you have Dean Martin singing

"When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie that's amore".

I think it's more of an East Coast thing. There's a youtube pizzer maker that I come across and he has that NY Italian accent and he calls it a pie as well.

So yea. Only in the America

A robot or AI doesn't have a soul, doesn't have a spirit.

Hebrews 4:12
12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Yes, in the northern USA when Italian immigrants came over and brought the pizza, the Americans called it a tomato pie. I guess it stuck, and became pizza pie. But only in the North. In the Southern states we never refer to it as a pie. We think of pie as a desert.

All this talk about pizza...now I wish I had one.

I remember the first time I ever had pizza. As a child I went to a Catholic Church fair near my cousin Donna's home. They had big square pizzas and she got me a slice. After that I knew what pizza was!

Back East they often had these fairs at churches to raise money.

My major concern is that you Americans call pizza a pie.
A PIE. Really. Only in America :Laughingoutloud:

Pizza is often called a Pie, because of its Round shape. Cut and served in triangles, like a pie.

Also deep dish Pizza Pie, because of its round shape and pan with higher sides.

Also Pizza that is Loaded / Supreme, with multiple kinds of cheeses, meats, fruit options.

Also pizza in bite sized.

Also Pizza baked on a rectangle sheet and served in squares.

Yep, probably only in America, cuz that’s the way we roll… whatever ya have a hankering for!

People in the USA do not call a pizza, a "pie" Where did you get that from?

The first video of the thread called it a pie several times. Confirmed

There's an American song
"When the moon hits your eyes like a big pizza pie that's amore" . Confirmed

Then look at what people said next post after yours and 3 posts before yours. Confirmed
And look at these videos. Confirmed

So yeah, Americans call pizzas pies. :jest:

@Debp @Taken

In Australia we have meat pies.
Visitors usually trip out over them.

It's just a warm savoury pie with mince meat in it. It's very nice. You can get one at almost every fuel station for a hand held bite on the go. Every bakery sells them as well with different fillings like chicken and cheese, beef and bacon, etc. Their lovely with a morning coffee or lunch time snack
