The concept of Christ Jesus preaching in Hell, is nothing new; meaning men being Informed via the Word of God, of a prophetic expectation of what will, shall occur and a general time frame of: near, soon, quick.

He, being Christ Jesus.

Lead, being He Christ Jesus ascending up returning to Heaven, Followed by the waiting living Saved souls in Hell, who had departed their Dead bodies.

Captivity, applies to the Saved (living, imparted or departed souls), having been held captive (unable on their own to depart their body, to Leave Hell), escorting them TO Heaven, where they shall Remain Captive, (unable to Leave Heaven), UNTIL such time they are escorted/sent Back to Earth to be imparted into their Risen Glorified Body.

Meaning, The Captive by, through, of and IN Christ, are unable to LEAVE Hell, are unable to LEAVE their body, are unable to LEAVE Heaven;, by, through, of Their own WILL-power.
They continue to remain Captive regardless of where they are…(soul) in their body, out of their body, in hell, in heaven, on the earth.
