Maybe that it's one of the best countries in the world? (At least that's my opinion anyways.)
That is all that is great about America, because it is one of the best countries in the world. It is wonderful to live in a land, that allows people to have freedom, though their are also laws set in place that is set to protect the people of the land. It is wonderful, and a blessing. Though life beyond that mention of just America being great, lives the life of individuals who all have different problems going on in life and struggles, behind that greatness of 'America' being so great. It is a nation where there is freedom and it something to be thankful for absolutely. (It is not the freedom that comes from being and living through the spirit by Christ Jesus that produces love.)
Though there is something far greater than this world one day, and for all those who are broken hearted who are having a hard time in this great land are in great need for peace in their heart and rest in their soul and a saviour and the only answer to the truth is the Lord Jesus Christ who spoke of himself saying that He is the way, the the truth, the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. Anyone who believes may have rest in their soul from all of their troubles, woes, and worries of the broken hearted, and those who have no one and are out there with no voice, and no ear to hear them and it is a great reason to continue to look towards the Lord Jesus Christ, with hope and faith in the Son of God, and the Father of the Son and start looking towards heavenly things that are pure, good, truthful, which by the spirit cause love, mending, compassion, mercy towards all people regardless of who they are.

@April_Rose you can be a patriot with our divine constitution and desire it remain pure, together with the good people that support and defend it. That is Godly conviction.
You mentioned the U.K., we were not founded on Christianity ....that came later.
Last year many of us outside the US were told that we didn’t understand patriotism , yet your definition is clear enough and would be relevant to everyone on this board to understand.
Am I proud of being British, yes, but I class myself as a citizen of ‘ The Kingdom ‘ so I am not sure I see the two being linked as the United Kingdom is not the same as The Kingdom of Christ .......
The Kingdom of Christ encompasses many nations as born again believers come from all around the world ........
You stated earlier that you think the USA is the best in the world, but how many other countries have you lived in to actually know it’s the best?
I know that many countries do not have the same freedoms I have, so I know I am grateful that I live in a country where more freedom exists, patriotism is not demanded ( as it is in such countries like China )
I am proud to be British because this is my physical home, whether it’s the best country to live in is debatable because I have not lived anywhere else.........

I am a super patriot! But my patriotism is for my home country-------HEAVEN! I am grateful for the rich Christian heritage America had, but we are a nation that is no longer post Christian buyt more and more moving to anti-Christian. There is only one nation God made special covenants with- that is Israel. America will be another gentile nation that will serve the Antichrist when he rises to power.
I obey our authorities and honor them and pray for them as we are commanded, but we as Christians must remember that we are strangers and aliens on planet earth. we are here as ambassadors and workmen for our King and His kingdom.
Well,.. I said that America is one of the best countries in the world because you look at sad and unfortunate countries like Africa, and communist countries like China and I do believe Japan. The UK is one of the better countries too I believe even though you guys have a monarchy. Seems to be all for show anymore though as I don't think that the queen, prince, princess etc. doesn't have much actual ruling power anymore do they? They're still important people but I don't think that they have much power nowadays. Of course, since it isn't my government I could be wrong.
No, the monarchy do not run the country anymore. Parliament still have to seek approval with some things , but it’s just a formality. I can’t imagine us without a Royal family though, I am not a strong royalist but accept they are part of our way of life here.

I just wanted to let you guys know to all of you who don't know a fun trivia fact. The American patriot song "My Country Tis of Thee" came from the same melody as "God Save The Queen."

Lol April, I have never heard the whole anthem as they tend to just play the first part !!
I remember, many years ago now, they use to play that at the end of the evenings TV viewings before the screen use to go blank and return to the test card ( back in the 1960/70’s )

I am for a Christian foundation monarch as well and our National anthem was God Saved the Queen until the Socialist go their way to undermine such.
Oh the pride in the Communist Socialist had in getting rid of that, for the rubbish that we now have and now they are even bastardising that as well, it's all cultural Marxism
.I once seen our Media god K Packer on TV boasting of demanding loyalty of his subjects, well I believe such as that just happens to be a two way street, one can never demand loyalty, one has to earn that respect in fact.
As for our Queen now I think that she has made herself irrelevant in the last 20 years, she is hardly Christian and being the head of my Church well come on the C of E is a joke if not a total disgrace. Will Charles pick it up ? No ! will the boy I can't see it with him happening. we are losing our rights and freedoms year after year and the bloody Monarch does nothing at all, so what the hell is the good of them.
If the Monarch does not stand up for the conservative Christian people their finished because no Socialist will, in fact they have a great track record of killing them all. I don’t respect many of the royals, but funny enough I do not dislike the Queen. Everyone has opinions about Harry right now, but to be honest I do admire him for stepping away. I don’t think he has made wise decisions on how to deal with issues. I like Princess Anne.......

The Church of England has never been high on my list for respecting, although you cannot judge the whole thing ...there are many within it who are born again and the alpha course originated from a c of e church.
Anyway I think we are derailing this thread .................it’s not really about the above but about how we feel about our countries ..........

I have always liked our Queen even through the years were our MSM was all out to destroy her and making Diana out to be the bees knees peoples Princess dribble.
Only the Queen is to old now and has lost the plot, she gave it away when her mother died and then they put them people in charge of Royal Media etc issues just like the Pope did, who control the show for them nowadays, because the MSM were getting way out of hand.
So sadly they both sold themselves out to such Devils.
If one is a Monarch one must take such a roll truly seriously I believe or get lost. If they are not going to be serious they can pack up and go.
I hold people to be accountable in their positions.
The C of E failed just as did the RCC because they turned their backs on Jesus Christ and I seen it all coming, because they lack virtue to stand up to all the degenerates. it's somewhat like a car crash a fool behind the wheel is out of control and we are just waiting for the crash to happen.
One must stand by ones convictions if you are in a position to lead the show, regardless. we once had that in people, but nowadays they all are faint to be seen promoting anything past that of the lowest denominator view point. what's the point preaching to the lowest common denominator they never truly listen anyway or get it all wrong regardless, because they are so shallow. you want to inspire people who are worthy of conviction to strive forward with virtue.
It's all about how we feel and the hope for our Nations people to progress, not regress like it is now being peddled, our Nations are facing the most regressive part in history ever, that is a truly blight.
