Because Christ's birth was announced by Pope Julius I 375 AD that the date of Christ's birth was "discovered" in December the 25th. Well, December 25 is also the date that many of the pagan gods were created. Maybe it was another scheme of the Roman Catholic church so that the Roman pagans could convert into Catholic Christianity easier.Listen to these sermons by Dr. Scott Johnson about this topic.http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=103007130530http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=103007145342http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=10300715424

That's the whole point of December 25th. That date is so not Christ's birthday whatsoever. Reason why I hate Christmas whatsoever, as God and fairytales do not mix together. That will difinately be another Jesus being preached...Jag

I concur with September---- during the time of the autumn feasts. There are two ways that I can think of regarding biblical teaching on this. The first is Jesus started his ministry at 30 years of age--- and this lasted for 3.5 years. Since he died in the spring, that makes his birth in the autumn.Another way is to study Luke's course of the priests (established by King David). Zacharias was of the course of Abia, and from that can be ascertained the time of the year that Zecharias served and saw the vision. Even miracle babies like John and Jesus take 9 months, so from that we can also ascertain when they were born. A non-conventional extra-biblical source is the Great Pyramid, which gives the date September 29, 2BC. However, I am a tad skeptical of that---- I'll tell you why. The pyramid may be God's word in stone, but it's man's method of measuring it that I am not confident on. Others that measured the pyramid swore they got 4BC as his birth date. I would only use the pyramid to show the general time frame in history that major events occurred as opposed to precise dates.

September is the time, though I do believe Christ was conceived on the 25th of December. If you start looking, you begin to realize how paganism seeps into the religion of Christianity.Sunday = Sun's Day (the sun god)Saturday = Saturn's DayEaster = Ishtar (pagan goddess of fertility)The list goes on.Ever heard the phrase "the queen of heaven" - I'm sure you have. That title was also given to Asherah, Ashtoreth, and Isis.

Christ is our Passover Lamb. I never heard of "queen of heaven" either...But hearing that makes me think of people who worship Mary as "Co-Saviour" or "Co-Redeemer"Exodus 20:3 - Thou shalt have no other gods before me.JagLovest ye in Christ Yahshua our Lord and Saviour.

Oh, and the Catholic Marry is actually Ishtar.

It's funny how the Roman Catholic beliefs tie in with pagan beliefs of before the Caesar Constantine, the first pope.

It's clear that Easter is a pagan holiday...I don't even know why the world loves that holiday...Anyway I rather stick with Yahshua, over Easter, the pagan holiday, which has a goddess.JagLovest ye in Christ Yahshua our Lord and Saviour.
