Okay if you don't want to discuss it with me let's discontinue this.
Who said it's a license to Sin, And who wants to sin. I would say The devil's work would be to sow doubt in someone's Faith in The Sacrifice Jesus Made and in the power of his blood Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. (Ephesians 1:8) And to look at themselves and their performance instead, where they would fail but...He who began a good work will finish it and Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus
If The Devil could make God lie one time he would be a liar that's what they have tried to do from the beginning but He is not, Scripture says
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.. John 6:37
. . . .And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. John 6:39
John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
So let's put some facts on the table.... You say you have no sin 1 John 8 so the truth isn't in you, you hear audible voices in your head, You do prayer circles for manifesting some sort of power, Pagan origins, You put doubt in Christians Faith in The Blood of Jesus and his Sacrifice You make people look to themselves and their performance and works, you promote yourself (pride) I could go on and on but If you call a spade a spade..... Who realy is playing into the Devils hands
So, you are saying that you are NOT "hid with Christ in God". If so, then God the Father still sees all of your sinfulness, from anything of stealing a paper clip, to comitting murder. That goes for all of your covetous thoughts and that of lusting for sex also! I perceive that you shall never get off your knees, to walk in His Spirit as a NEW creature, because you are forever asking for forgiveness of your old flesh and blood existence.
I thought you said that you were born again!
When will you learn, that of yourself, there is NOTHING "good" in you.
Only God is GOOD! So, if He is in you, there is nothing from you that He wants, because in YOU of yourself, there is no good thing, except HIM. For you to be your savior, by keeping anything of the Law, is NOT acceptable to God.
1 John 1:8 is someone BEFORE Christ, "for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. All you would have to do to not fall into ignorance, is to read the next verse. The Word of God has to be read in context, and NOT contradict other scripture, especially by the same author such as 1 John chapter 3!
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and there is no truth in us. 9 But if we confess our sins to God, he will keep his promise and do what is right: he will forgive us our sins and purify us from all our wrongdoing.
Who is truth? The Holy Spirit! And if you do not have the Holy Spirit that stops you from sinning, you do not belong to Christ. Romans 8:9; 1 John 3:5
Grace....the total forgiveness of ALL sins.....it's the impetus for actually LIVING a Godly life.....
And how is that? Not by your definition of grace it isn't! The true definition of grace, yes, but not by your definition of lawlessness.
So true!!A license to sin. Men are sinners naturally. You don't need a license to do what comes naturally.
Yes, you are "hid with Christ in God", and so as He said: "...for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. And where did I say that I am not "hid with Christ in God." I abide in Him, and He abide in me. 1 John 3:24
When a person is born again they receive a heart to want to please and serve God, that comes naturally from that perspectiveSo true!!
I mean, is there any of us who merely want God to tell us not to bother whether we sin or not, It's OK, you can sin, no biggie? No one I know, not who is born again!
Much love!
You have to take the verse out of context to try to make it fit what you are saying it says clearly "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us"., The Lords prayer Has forgive us our Debts and Sins, And starts with our Father in Heaven so it's to Christians, Actually, Jesus is Truth The Holy Spirit Testafies Of Jesus who Was the only One who had no sin, Look at it this way Could the greatest Sin Be breaking the Greatest Comandment, Do you think you can love God With all your heart with all your mind with all your strength at all times as he is worthy of?
Here's how.
Given the fact - fact - that we are not yet perfected, and are still in corruptible flesh, well, we know we're not perfect. And depending on what your perceptions of yourself are, and what you excuse and don't excuse, well, let's just say we can become conflicted in our relationship with God, if we are holding things against ourself. And we project that on God.
And you know from our many discussions that there are a number of ways we perceive our sins. The issue of sin in any believer's life is a unique and personal matter between them in God.
We know that it is by faith we have access into the grace in which we stand.
Our perceptions of our sins work directly against our faith - unless - we understand that even what we hold against ourselves, God does not hold against us. All is forgiven. All, for all time. There is nothing that God holds against me, therefore I always - always - have a completely open door to my unseen Father. My Faithful Creator. My Loving Savior.
It is God Who sanctifies us. It is by faith we receive from God. It is in our reconciliation to God that we are freely in His presence. And as we become aware we are in His presence, with no hindrance, we do not sin. We keep our eyes on Jesus, and not on the waves, although there ARE waves, but keeping our eyes on Him, we walk on water.
Much love!
If not, then by what *work of God shall you do, in order to keep yourself sin-free in and through YOUR flesh?
I'm not talking about emotions we label "feeling guilty". Guilt for sin is judicial from God in the form of condemnation, that is, destruction away from the presence of the Lord. Are you talking about feeling guilty about something that you did in the past that has been forgiven, or sins you continually commit. If you go out on your wife tomorrow, can you still come before God with a clear conscience, knowing you are already forgiven?
Do you know that I can come to God with a clear conscience in the midst of committing sin?
Of course I do agree with all of what you said, but evidently YOU don't believe it!Romans 8:9 However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.
You can't through your old flesh/carnal nature. That is why we MUST be born again. Otherwise we don't belong to Christ.
And how is that? Not by your definition of grace it isn't! The true definition of grace, yes, but not by your definition of lawlessness. And I'm not talking about the Law of Moses. We are not under that.
Have you ever hear of the righteous requirements of the Law? That is what we are under. Guess how we fulfill them.
Still you haven't figured it out yet. Then start trying to figure out why there is a contradiction.
1. How can Jesus cleanse us from all unrighteousness, and we still have sin?
2. Whey does 1 John 3 say that if you sin you are of the devil? Yet you believe 1 John 1:8 is a Christian?
I've explained this so many times, and have come to the conclusion you people are going to have to start thinking for yourselves. I did, so can you.
And how is that? Not by your definition of grace it isn't! The true definition of grace, yes, but not by your definition of lawlessness. And I'm not talking about the Law of Moses. We are not under that.

Does ALL sins include "Past, Present and Future" sins?
OP^
The Lord Christ Jesus' forgiveness includes all Past Sins...
Thereafter...the man is Freed from committing Sin, thus there are no present or future Sins committed To Forgive.
Glory to God,
Taken
