Does it concern you that gospels were written so many years after Jesus died?

Ah ...your only source...
And the source that was written up to 70 years after the events...
Dare I research another source eh ...
The Bible is the ultimate source. There are other reliable sources, but you have to be sure it aligns with the Word of God.

You might want to think your whole faith through again Bob. Dont think you've been asking enough questions.

You are just way too pessimistic and cynical to qualify yourself as a Christian
From your perspective anyway
I need to question.
Have you heard of faith and reason?
We don't totally ignore reason.

Lived and died.
I think Paul's letters were written before the gospels.
John was written about 70 years after Jesus death?
It bothers me. How can the events described in the gospel be totally accurate.
Are we all just too gullible?
For me, my witness of God's Truth comes from testimony of the Holy Spirit to me directly. It doesn't depend on the exact literal accuracy of a human's written account.

Another source other than the word of God?

That wound be a waste of time and potentially exposes one to many dangerous doctrines of devils.

This is from Wikipedia guys.
Wikipedia written by Satan??

How would you know without the Bible? Without the truth?

1 John 4:1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Ecclesiastes 12:12
And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

Jude 1:18
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

Boy, the scriptures never fail...
Mockers on both sides.
Christians mock unbelievers too.

Carston Peter Thiede wrote a book called The Jesus Papyrus, I think in the mid-90's.

He pushes for way-earlier dates for the gospels than most Bible scholars today.

Kenneth Gentry espouses the early dating of Revelation in the late sixties AD.

I think the whole New Testament could have been written by 70 AD. For any books written AFTER that NOT MENTIONING the Temple destruction would seem odd for me.
