The Sabbath was made by God for man. From my perspective, the moral law is covered under God's law of human conscience,
which came before the law given by God to the Israelites alone through Moses.
The inclusion of the Sabbath commandment shows that this SET of commandments was for the Israelites alone.
Remove the Sabbath commandment and you basically have God's law of human conscience.

There was another thing he wanted them to remember. (slaves in Egypt)And when God dictated his moral laws to Moses he said, remember the Sabbath and keep it holy.
I agree.Also,remember what Paul said?
Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath.
Colossians 2:16
If we are all one in Christ, who can lay judgement against any Christian who observes the Sabbath gift?
Who would change the day God decreed as the Sabbath day he made for us?I agree.
My only objection is when someone tells me what day.
[
Not a problem at all. God's Sabbath rest existed before Israel or Jews. There was another thing he wanted them to remember. (slaves in Egypt)
Deuteronomy 5:14-15 NIV
but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns, so that your male and female servants may rest, as you do. 15 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.

There is no evidence that the Israelites observed the Sabbath before Exodus chapter 16. (manna)Not a problem at all. God's Sabbath rest existed before Israel or Jews.
You're ignoring the fact the Sabbath did not originate on Saini. The Sabbath was given by God to the Israelites alone through Moses.
- To whom was the Sabbath commandment given?
Exodus 31:13 NIV
“Say to the Israelites, ‘You must observe my Sabbaths.
This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come,
so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy.
Ezekiel 20:12 NIV
Also I gave them my Sabbaths as a sign between us,
so they would know that I the Lord made them holy.
Ezekiel 20:20 NIV
Keep my Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us.
Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.”
--- MANNA and SABBATH ---
Exodus 16:21-23 NIV
Each morning everyone gathered as much as they needed, and when the sun grew hot, it melted away.
22 On the sixth day, they gathered twice as much—two omers[a] for each person—
and the leaders of the community came and reported this to Moses.
23 He said to them, “This is what the Lord commanded:
‘Tomorrow is to be a day of sabbath rest, a holy sabbath to the Lord.
So bake what you want to bake and boil what you want to boil.
Save whatever is left and keep it until morning.’”

The Sabbath originated with manna collection in Exodus chapter 16.You're ignoring the fact the Sabbath did not originate on Saini.
No, it means to observe, a remembrance. (regular observance)You're also ignoring God said to remember the Sabbath day. Which means a recollection of something that preceded that day.
No,it did not .The Sabbath originated with manna collection in Exodus chapter 16.
They were to remember the Sabbath day after their exodus. Bringing to their minds the observance of Sabbath. When for centuries as slaves in Egypt there was no such thing allowed. No, it means to observe, a remembrance. (regular observance)
They were supposed to remember that they were slaves in Egypt.
Were you a slave in Egypt.?
Deuteronomy 5:15 NIV
Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.

There is no evidence that Abraham observed the Sabbath.“Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws” (Genesis 26:5, ESV)
Abraham pre existed the Israelites entry into Egypt.
Who told them they were naked and should be ashamed of it?What happened when A&E ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil?
Was the shame they experienced a psychological construct built through a childhood socialization processes?
[
Galatians 3:17 This is what I mean: the law, which came 430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to make the promise void. There is no evidence that Abraham observed the Sabbath.
What commands were given to Abraham?
Hebrews 4:8Adam and Eve were created on the sixth day.
Did they observe the seventh day Sabbath? (after six days work) ???
What day would that be?

Of course you would have a direct source to the authority upon which such a change was made right? The word "Sabbath" means to cease. It is singular in the decalogue...FOR A REASON.
It is the ending of the covenant and the installation of a New Covenant....one not focused on race as that would make God a racist. But a Covenant with the WHOLE WORLD. that whosoever believes will not perish but have everlasting life.
Today we still believe in The Sabbath Day but not as a cease of work on Saturday but in the Resurrection on Sunday....which is the hope of every believer.
Exactly.Who told them they were naked and should be ashamed of it?
