When you find "extra-biblical Jesuit doctrine" in that site, please post a link to that page, not some fundie source with paranoid "Jesuit" obsessions.

The CC does not teach pre-trib theory.

So you refuse to agree with what we agree on. :contemplate: You're so rabid I can't even agree with you.

I asked you to support a baseless insult with evidence from a Jesuit source. You replied with another baseless insult out of prejudice and fear of being corrected. Catholics and Protestants are united by virtue of Baptism. Anti-Catholics touting the "apostate and idolatrous" canard are usually found to be from radial reformist fringe groups. Worse, some reject the Trinity, making them anti-Protestant.

Try not to derail the thread with stupid flaming zingers.

the BEST anti-catholic Book i ever read = the HOLY BIBLE

Faithful Witness = "Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven."

i suggest that you set your whole heart on Christ and His Word = the only Source of Truth

YES, when the Lord Returns, some Saints of His Body/Church will be alive on earth = at His Coming.

These Saints will be some Jews & many Gentiles in Christ = Jesus said so = make sure you do not call Him a liar.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth = ALL Nations = Jew & Gentile = One Gospel = One Rachel = Jew & Gentile
At the 6th seal most of the those that are harvested from the earth will be of the twelve tribes. We see the 144,000 first fruits of this harvest. The 70th week of Daniel is about the people of Daniel. The Church is already in heaven before the final week. The Church will be raptured in the early summer grain harvest.

And the 12 tribes(the seed of the woman) will realize that they missed the harvest as their eyes will be opened when the fullness of the Gentiles comes in. What will they say?

Jeremiah 8
20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.

They will realize that they missed the harvest. They will realize that Jesus is prophesied Messiah. They will be regrafted just as the Word of God declares.

How is it that you don't realize that the final week is about God's Chosen? The fullness of the Gentiles has already come in before the final week begins, hence the kings and priests in heaven in Revelation 5

It is the end! The coming of the Lord (the end of the age) is the end of corruption, the end of the wicked, the end of sin, the end of death, the end for the devil and the end of time. It is the beginning of eternity. It is the beginning of perfection.
i fully agree that it is the 'end of this age' just as the Scripture declares.

However, the earth is not yet burned up at His Coming.

Some people and some things and places on earth will be judged with fire = but not the entire earth = not yet.

36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

You are correct with Jeremiah 8 in your post.

Matthew has the Key for you to SEE Romans chapter eleven = last stop before Heaven.......

You should take pre-trib to the garbage where it belongs BEFORE the revealing of the Anti-Christ and his Mark.

also remember that this is a Parable which points us to His Coming and any understanding from it will be subject to LITERAL accounts given by the OT Prophets, Lord Jesus Christ and the Apostles.

We should never isolate ourselves with a few passages but always strive to SEE the Complete Scripture from Heaven.

i fully agree that it is the 'end of this age' just as the Scripture declares.

However, the earth is not yet burned up at His Coming.

Some people and some things and places on earth will be judged with fire = but not the entire earth = not yet.

That is not what the Bible teaches. Jesus said in Matthew 24:35-44: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

After telling us that “heaven and earth shall pass away,” Jesus immediately tells us: “of that day and hour knoweth no man.” This final day that is approaching is coming unexpectedly. This fits in with the “thief in the night” scenario found elsewhere in Scripture. It would seem to confirm that the day that Christ returns is the day when the current corrupt natural order (both the creature and creation) is gloriously changed. The wicked and all corruption are destroyed when Jesus comes. The Lord here identifies the passing away of “heaven and earth” with “the coming of the Son of man.”

Christ describes this day as an unanticipated day for many – one that will find many unprepared. For those who are playing at religion they will be caught on. They will face the same punishment as the “hypocrite” when He comes: “there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” The wicked are an all-inclusive group; they include every Christ-rejecter – from the religious professors to the outright profane hypocrites. They will all be caught in the destruction when they are left behind and the “heaven and earth ... pass away.”

2 Peter 3:3-13: “there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”

Q. When Christ Comes as a thief in the night, will the heavens pass away / perish with a great noise?
Q. When Christ Comes as a thief in the night, will the elements be ‘loosed by being set on fire’?
Q. When Christ Comes as a thief in the night, will the earth be ‘burned up utterly / consumed wholly?
Q. When Christ Comes as a thief in the night, will the works that are within the earth be ‘burned up utterly / consumed wholly?

i ABSOLUTELY and FULLY AGREE with those Scriptures in LIGHT of the ENTIRE COMPLETED SCRIPTURE

The ENTIRE Completed Scripture begins with Genesis and ends with Revelation.

We should never isolate ourselves with a few passages but always strive to SEE the Complete Scripture from Heaven.
After-all, that is where it Came down From.............

Well HE did say that His Feet will stand upon the Mt. of Olives and HE will literally split the mountain(s).

And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west,
Making a very large valley;
Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
And half of it toward the south.

Then you shall flee through My mountain valley,
For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal.
Yes, you shall flee
As you fled from the earthquake
In the days of Uzziah king of Judah.

It never caught on? Hello! Read your own posts. Look around you today and see how this invention has corrupted the minds of men and sold them a lie.
I asked you three times to prove it, and three times you have failed. You keep ignoring everything I post. Here you are again, with yet another stupid baseless insult with never accepted evidence. What part of the catechism that I posted "has corrupted the minds of men and sold them a lie???" You only reply with more stupid off-topic flaming zingers because you refuse to be reasoned with. Good bye.

You are diverting. That is a frustrating Premil habit. Premils explain away the New by their faulty opinion of the Old.

That passage relates to the First Advent and AD70. It is not "the day of the Lord" as the KJV states but "a day coming unto the Lord" - His first appearing. Can you deal with the 2 NT passages that are explicitly clear in their detail and description showing the regeneration of the heavens and earth when He comes.

What evidence do you have to claim this occurred at His First Coming?

Why do you ask posters questions like this? Did you even read my post? It comes across as condescending and patronizing. Read my post and you will see the clear answer. You have done this with other posters when you are trying to avoid their Scriptures and arguments. Respond please to what I wrote and stop avoiding. It doesn't do anything to advance your position. Scripture very clearly and repeatedly shows that the heavens and earth pass away at the second coming. Look at the evidence above. I just gave 2 passages so that you wouldn't divert. But it did not work.

If you want to know what the Catholic Church actually teaches - go to the Catechism.

Former Catholics are some of the most ignorant people I've ever met.
That's why they're "former" Catholics . . .
