Oh my....:

Oh my....:
But sadly, you will not see the truth of that statement.
That's what's sad...there's no truth in your understanding of this. And you are unteachable as well. Which seals the deal.
So be it. I know that my fate is God's prerogative based on my what I have/will have done. Your fate is sealed by your own words of condemnation.
You have claimed to be a teacher of the truth, but for me, I find misunderstanding in your words.
Jesus also said not to call down death and destruction upon the likes of you and your followers. So I will watch and leave you alone knowing that my words of correction are being ignored and return to offering up my praises to God.
Good day them.
Maybe one of the nay-sayers on this thread could start their own thread...like... How I always get things right....or...how all Christians are always right...even though no two people agree. :)![]()
Such drama...very sad. If you have nothing to contribute to the thread but self-justification...then it's more sadness.![]()
These are your words that I will use about you: -
"That's what's sad...there's no truth in your understanding of this. And you are unteachable as well. Which seals the deal."
Your justification is that I am unteachable which implies that only you have the right knowledge to teach and pontificate on.
I initially provided my reasoning as to why your understanding was flawed, but all you have done is attempted to blow my arguments out of the water with no scriptural rational or justification to support your views as being right other than to say that I am unteachable because I have dared to suggest that your rational is flawed and based on drawing the wrong conclusions.
So be it.
Good day sir.
I have tried speaking with you before. Are you not the one that says that Jesus taught parables about Satan's kingdom?
And there is only One Head of the Body of Christ and it is NOT any one of those irregular globes of flesh and bone sitting on top of any of the bodies of flesh and bone which house us for the moment. With the Baptist, we need to lose our old head and have it replaced with the new One, which is Jesus! We are a body...and members one of another. :)
"Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.Maybe one of the nay-sayers on this thread could start their own thread...like... How I always get things right....or...how all Christians are always right...even though no two people agree. :)![]()
And lo and behold with our foolish ignorance leading us the miraculous healing glory of the brazen serpent of Numbers 21:8-9, which all of the written scriptures could and should be, becomes rather the Nehushtan of II Kings 18:4We do the same thing with the bible. We purchase a bible...or get a free copy...and then proceed to do the same thing with it. Anything that we deem we want within it's pages...we claim for ourselves.
When we find that the grace of God is given freely...we immediately claim the free stuff for ourselves. After all, it is OUR bible, and anything that we want in it is ours for the taking.
So we bring the same covetous attitude to the bible that we use in the world...to get what WE want.
How can this not be a recipe for disaster? Is God playing to our covetousness? Is He being a salesman and wanting to increase church membership?
So we make a god in our own selfish image. What we do...we expect God to do. We ignore the fact that God is fully other...completely different from us. His ways are far above our own.
Yet we don't allow for a change of carnal reasoning in regards to eternal truth. We forget the the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Instead we build on that faulty selfish reasoning thus drawing all the wrong conclusions to what we are reading in the bible.
Few can just read what the bible is saying in it's own context. Few can receive the truth.
Without understanding the kingdom of God, the bible remains a huge enigma. But once you understand the rankings in the kingdom...the saints who rule over the righteous who are over the filthy....then everything falls into place very neatly.

good oneAnother huge error is in the false conclusion of being "saved" as a status. A cursory bible study on this subject shows that salvation is mainly about being delivered in our daily troubles. Salvation is deliverance.
Jesus said...deliver (save) us from evil. THAT is the salvation that is mostly confirmed in the bible.
There is a passage where Paul says..."all who remain in the ship will be saved". Now with the wrong conclusions so prevalent in today's church...why is there no sect that believes in living aboard a ship for salvation? It is the same reasoning as they use for their religious "assurances."
I gotta admit I'm not quite getting the rejection of gnosis there in the same breath with "one needs deeper understanding?"You are simply denying the truth to support an armchair opinion that you use to justify yourself. And you hate any kind of truth that challenges those smug assumptions.
You deny any knowledge of God that does not pass through your mind first. Limiting God? Oh my...
You have no fear of the Lord...whereas you should be trembling right now...
Where is the wisdom?
Sad thing is people actually believe it. “The saints who rule over the righteous who rule over the filthy.” “Ranking in the kingdom”.
1)Isaiah 52:1
[1] Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
2) your term “filth”. Of course you are not considered anywhere near the “filth”.
3) Matthew 5:43-48 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. [44] But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; [45] That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. [46] For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? [47] And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others ? do not even the publicans so? [48] Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
4) it promotes vanity. Upper class, middle class and lower class.
I gotta admit I'm not quite getting the rejection of gnosis there in the same breath with "one needs deeper understanding?"
What?
The understanding of Episkopos here I cannot find in the scriptures to agree with what he has written.
Perhaps, I have missed the verse(s) were it is found but I doubt it.
Perhaps Episkopos can present the scriptural verses which supports his statement made bold above.
Shalom to those who are righteous.
