This parable is about the righteous....who are scarcely saved. Only the saints produce actual fruit that is rewardable.
Notice the difference in this parable with the others about the talents or pounds.
Without understanding the kingdom of God, the bible remains a huge enigma. But once you understand the rankings in the kingdom...the saints who rule over the righteous who are over the filthy....then everything falls into place very neatly.
Remember that there were 3 sons of Noah and of these (look at the names) ALL the earth was populated. This is about...prophetically...the age to come.
Sadly, Episkopos, your understanding of the Parables of the Talent and the Pounds is not in line with what is being taught.
All of the parables, the Parable of the workers in the vineyard, the Pound and the Talent are all about what will happen after the time that the Kingdom of God is established in our near future.
The fact of the matter is, your examples that you have highlighted above, show how you have drawn the wrong conclusions and understandings from them.
The parable of the workers in the vineyard field is also similar to the Parable of the Judgement of the Sheep and the Goats which is also about being rewarded for what they had done. The owner of the vineyard dismisses the first hirelings of the day away and sends them away with their agreed wages for the days work.
Could these workers be the Gentile Church that many on this forum shout about having replaced the Israelites in God's purposes?
Perhaps you have missed the warning as well and have aligned yourself up with the Goats.
