I wonder whether many of Jesus' words are considered as cryptic by those people then and the people today?
They are far more well spoken than you who knows only how to speak in cryptic bumper sticker slogans.
.....and why are they considered this way? Could it be that the paradigm Jesus is seeing from is so at odds with the way people saw then and today that's the only conclusion they could come to?
Do we really conclude that Jesus spoke in ways (cryptic) to deliberately confuse people?
Perhaps his silence at his trial is a clue? Perhaps the shortsightedness of people is a clue? Perhaps the speed at which the poo-hooing is forthcoming and the lack of further enquiry is a clue?......or do you mean to tell me everything you know Jesus said is as clear as crystal?.....if it is not, why isn't it?
