Failing the People Again

Our respective states are failing us all.

They aren't giving out the Vaccines in a fast and furious fashion.

My state of TN has gotten millions of doses delivered to them.

Pathetic really.

Someone needs to get the lead out of their backside and get it into gear.
Vanderbilt university Medical center is pretty much the major distributor for the Vaccines issued to them that they either purchased or were given due to research agreements. They have been going at breakneck speed and efficiency.

Nobody else knows anything...
Such as where we are in the process, when we might see our turn come up,
When those around us can get theirs,
And most importantly...
WHERE to go to get vaccinated.
Some of these outlying areas are getting nowhere in their vaccinations.

Our politicians are more interested in getting good press than actually doing their jobs.
Vote every last one of them out!

I thought we were Christians? Maybe just a lapse of faith? That's ok, it happens to us all from time to time. What's the worst that can happen? Hasn't death lost its sting? You don't need the vaccine, it cannot save you or your loved ones. 'Oh human medicine and human leaders, why are you not saving us from death! Why do our leaders fail us, why cannot medicine cure all ills yet? Don't they know we have children to raise? Why are our leaders not more organized, why are they not more urgent in getting us the vaccine?' Maybe Christians are wrong, maybe this life should be clung to as if it is important? Maybe we should look to human solutions to the problem of death? Maybe we should not follow the examples of Jesus and Peter, walking directly toward death as if they could not really die? Only fools embrace death. So sorry for my lack of compassion; I should remember that those without Christ are frightened by COVID for good reason. Remember, even if you get COVID and all of your loved ones die, there is no reason to be anxious. Death has lost its sting for those who believe.
