I have already stated I participate on the forums and the only forum I am on now is this one.

Christianchat had an additional "live chat room" so does (or so did) Worthy, and CF also had one at one time, although I am not sure if they still do.

You can stop pretending that you do not know what I mean.
Pretending?

It seems to Me you are pretending this is not by defenition a chatroom.

I am Verily as I said

It says you are still an active member. That’s did. But thank you for clarifying. I do not remember conversing with you with that name

Difference Between Forum and Chatroom

A forum or message board is an online platform where users can post messages, start discussions, and engage in conversations about specific topics. These platforms are typically asynchronous, meaning that participants do not need to be online at the same time to contribute to the discussion. Forums are often organized into categories and threads, making it easier to navigate and find specific information. They also tend to be more structured and moderated, with discussions that can last for extended periods and be accessed at any time.
In contrast, a chat room is a real-time communication space where users can interact with each other instantly. Chat rooms are synchronous, meaning that all participants must be online simultaneously to engage in the conversation. Discussions in chat rooms can change rapidly, and the information shared is not typically archived, making it difficult to refer back to previous messages. Chat rooms are often used for spontaneous conversations and can be more informal compared to forums.

Additionally, forums usually require users to register and may have specific rules and moderation to maintain order, while chat rooms are often more open and accessible, sometimes requiring no registration at all. Forums also tend to offer more longevity, as content is archived and can be searched later, whereas chat rooms may have limited or no record of past conversations

I requested a ban, would you like me to call the Admin over to verify? I contacted two times and the second time to ban when I saw my name still showing and not deleted as was Johann's. That's what I was expecting.

Hey
@GRACE ambassador, I don't mind that you tell, can you clarify this for @Eternally Grateful

Its important to him for whatever reason, he seems to not be able to let this go.

Sorry, precious friend, admin is above my pay grade as I am just an 'Encounter Team' member for
encouragement of the saints. But thanks for thinking of me.

Grace, Peace, Mercy, and Love!

@GRACE ambassador which Admin would I have contacted through the "contact us" link located at the bottom of the board? Would you know? I used that method of contact when I saw the name on my old account still showing, but it would not allow me to sign in under it. And so it did not appear deleted or banned so I did contact the board (at that time) but no one ever gets back to you when you do that.

Now when I left here and joined that other board (where you were there also) I actually joined there as "Verily" and you reccognized me. I believe I asked you so much openly. But I forget that boards name though, it was a strange name, and I cannot find it again, do you know what that board's name is? I think it begins with an A, but I deleted it from my bookmarks and a forum search isn't yeilding the forum. I had posted on this glitch in the registery which asked for a date but it would reject the correct answer, and I reported it because that would affect the membership of the board if that would have gone overlooked so I brought that up to you as well.

Nevermind @GRACE ambassador, I found it, the forum, it doesnt even start with an A. Welcome To The Forum

Anyway, I think I got you and Admin confused on the thread for whatever reason, and everytime I see you (whether here or there) I think of you as the Admin.

That was hard to find, there is no search function over there.

when a person needs to try to defend this not being a chatroom. but saying it must be a forum,

I think it is time to move on. Which I will.

If he was banned as requestion. I do believe a mod can lift the ban. But even so. MOST PEOPLE who change nics, have an alterior motive. in this I will still stand.

some people take things to personally.. Will pray for them

if I am in one chatroom under one name. and in another chat room under a different name
I am trying to hide the fact I am the same person.

the reason does not matter.. but thats what you are doing.. because if you go to any chat room you see many people are members of all chatrooms or most of them
Posted by me earlier

Sorry, I do not do chat rooms, I do not have a Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, Tik Tok, Instagram, Google account (or any such like accounts). And I really do not want to be a part of that world for the most part. Christian forums are where I participate in sharing the word of God

this is a chat room

AI defended my understanding between the two and refuted your own.

I have owned forums, that is basic knowledge, and I contacted them through the "contact us" again for this, and no one returned my mail.

Not to mention I first tried signing into my old user name (knowing my password) but I could not.

Whatever you typically take a stand on is often rather weak.
some people take things to personally.. Will pray for them
And some people are just so incredibly nosey, prying into someone elses personal business which really does not concern them.

Stop being so nosey

I asked Ai, whats the bible say about nosey people?

Bible and Nosey People

The Bible does address the issue of being nosey, although it does not use the exact term "nosy." Instead, it refers to such behavior through concepts like being a "busybody," meddling, or prying into others' affairs. The Bible warns against excessive curiosity and intrusion into the private lives of others, emphasizing the importance of respecting boundaries and focusing on one's own responsibilities.

For example, the Apostle Paul mentions widows who "get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also busybodies who talk nonsense, saying things they ought not to" (1 Timothy 5). This passage highlights that being nosey can lead to idle talk and gossip, which the Bible associates with negative consequences.

Additionally, the Bible encourages believers to "make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands" (1 Thessalonians 4). This suggests that focusing on one's own affairs is preferable to meddling in the affairs of others.

The Bible also warns against gossip and slander, which are often associated with nosiness. Proverbs 16 states, "A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends". Furthermore, Paul equates slander and gossip with foolishness, malice, and even murder (Romans 1–32), sins that lead to spiritual death.

In summary, while the Bible does not use the term "nosy," it provides guidance against being overly inquisitive and meddling in the affairs of others, emphasizing the importance of respect, privacy, and focusing on one's own responsibilities.

AI is sometimes really good at this.

"Chat rooms and forums are both methods to communicate with other people over the Internet, but are used in different ways. Whereas chat rooms allow you to communicate with people in real time, forums are more suited for discussions where not all participants have to be online at the same time. Forums also tend to be more organized, with discussions separated into topics called "threads," which are moderated."

You are busting their chops over what is a forum and what is a chat room. I don't do chat rooms either. I can only imagine why you choose to blur the line. But there it is.

And you call me dishonest. Well, I get that a lot from people when I point to something they don't want pointed at. Dishonest. Sure thing.

I think you are the first I've come across that uses these sites and doesn't distinguish between them as others do.

Much love!
