Thankfully, your game has ended here. That's what happens when you put your trust in men and not in God. Light makes manifest the darkness.

Meanwhile, we do have the promise of seasons. Genesis 8:22 establishes that God sustains the climate cycle, stating that 'cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night shall not cease.'

Also, there are divine boundaries. Psalm 74:17 credits God with establishing the climate zones, stating, 'You have fixed all the boundaries of the earth; you have made summer and winter.'

And the book of Job contains several poetic descriptions of weather patterns. Job 37:9-10 notes that 'cold comes from the north' and that ice is formed by the breath of God.

Even with 24 hours of summer sun, the Arctic receives solar rays at a very low angle, spreading the heat thinly. Additionally, the white ice and snow reflect up to 85% of that sunlight back into space (the albedo effect), keeping the region frozen. Meanwhile, the equator receives direct, concentrated sunlight year-round, preventing ice from forming at sea level.

It's no mystery or fault.
