I eat one meal a day: dinner. I skip breakfast and lunch, although I will snack on carrot sticks or something similar throughout the day. I'm diabetic, so I have to watch what I eat.ahhhh, If I have it right, you must belong to the never eating breakfast collective. I wonder what that means? Cheaper grocery bills? Less wear and tear on shoe leather? Less toilet paper? More for lunch? ....and last but not least, a third as much farting?![]()
But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. Acts 11:9 |

Hullo again folks,
Very little response to the last episode - I will carry on if there is enough interest.
Feedback appreciated.
If Acts is not holding interest - we could do Romans or Galatians of whatever folks would like to tackle...
We are in the middle of moving at the moment.
Have you considered that your sleep may be less restful because your body is working at digesting your evening meal? Also, could you have less energy during the day because you skip breakfast? Food for thought?I eat one meal a day: dinner. I skip breakfast and lunch, although I will snack on carrot sticks or something similar throughout the day. I'm diabetic, so I have to watch what I eat.
Who says I have less energy during the day? I sleep fine, I wake up every morning at 6:00 I workout for about 45 minutes, take a shower and off to work. I'm a letter carrier who walks 15 miles a day in the elements. When I get home, I workout for another 45 minutes, make dinner for me and the family and take it easy the rest of the evening.Have you considered that your sleep may be less restful because your body is working at digesting your evening meal? He wasn't faced with immediate execution.Interesting that Paul wasn't released.
Paul refused to obey two prophetic words warning him to not go to Jerusalem for a 3rd time. I believe he was supposed to go to Rome as a free man preaching the gospel as he had been doing. But this time he forsook the grace of God which he himself warned the Galatians about . Telling them NOT to go back to the "gospel OF the circumcision" (a mixture of law and grace) while Paul preached the pure "gospel OF the uncircumcision."Interesting that Paul wasn't released.
Yes, I agree, he should not have returned to Jerusalem, and having returned, he should not have taken the vow so he could "prove" to James that he kept the Law still.Paul refused to obey two prophetic words warning him to not go to Jerusalem for a 3rd time. OK time to take up the study again.
Life has been super busy but my wife and I are in Melbourne now for a break.
Here we go...
Acts 12 - have a read and feed back what comes to you.
This is an amazing chapter.
Our God is good beyond measure.
