I once was telling my brother about how the Holy Spirit helps me lead a righteous life and I said that the Holy Spirit was my friend, which I meant, because I love Him and do view Him as my friend, and then I said that I call Him “Dave.” I don’t. I only ever call Him loving names such as teacher, helper, etc. I have a strange way of showing my affection for those I care about and sometimes cute names are how I do it and that was the thought that crossed my mind while discussing Holy Spirit. My brother said he understood that I was kidding with him. Did I blaspheme the Holy Spirit?

im more or less considered a heretic i guess, by cult-of-sol Christians, but my take on that is that if you are worried about it, then you almost surely didnt do it.
Im not sure at all on this part, but my guess is that "blasphemy of the HS" xlates to "knowingly committing a premeditated sin," although i couldnt defend that pov.

ntmy btw, im mark :)

No.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is what the people (Pharisees) that Jesus was speaking to (see Matthew 12:22-32) were doing ... it was seeing the POWER OF GOD (the Holy Spirit) at work and ascribing the work of God as works of the Devil. To claim that God is the EVIL ONE is to utterly reject the only power (the Holy Spirit) that can open a man's eyes and heart and draw one to Christ. What hope is left for those that KNOW the truth (having seen it with their own eyes) and willfully reject the Spirit that draws men to Christ?

So you did not even come close.
At worst, you were a little light on reverence.
At best, God has a sense of humor and chuckled at the joke.
(Based on people that placed the Ark on a cart, and the fact that you are still alive ... I lean towards God having a sense of humor.) ;)

Not remotely.

I think you only blaspheme when you do it knowingly.
