I don't think steven likes the historical Flood accounts mentioned several times in the Bible, even by Jesus.
Well teh flood is so easily proven by science or validated by science, and linguistic etymology and population demographics as to make it easy to show. Now granted only NOah and his family were there to record it but the geologic evidence forthe global flood is overwhelming.

Well I don't know about all that but I know Noah and the Genesis Flood are confirmed several times in the Bible.

DNA scientists traced DNA back to there being one original pair.
That's interesting, I mean there's just no way things like DNA assembled themselves out of pure chance without God.

If the universe was made 6,000 years ago, what does that mean for dinosaur fossils? Did they never really exist and were just put there during creation?

They had to have been on the ark because Job was between Noah and Abraham and he wrote about two dinos. Read Job chapters 40 and 41. There are also tracks in Texas where there are dino footprints and man's right next to it. He was probably hunting it and tracking the foot prints.

If I used the story of The Tortoise and the Hare to make a point, would that make the story true?
Just because I mentioned it.

I’m a big fan of the Hillsdale College online courses. (My son graduated from Hillsdale with a degree in Economics and Chemistry)

If you haven’t watched the course on the great reset yet, you should. There’s another new one on Russia.

On topic—

There are of course two sides to the Genesis story, as there are to all living things.

It's your word against the Christian Bible / Jesus.

Matthew 24:37-39
37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away,

But as in the story of The Tortoise and the Hare we need to understand that if we are overconfident we may lose the race.

Does that make the story of The Tortoise and the Hare true, just by mentioning it?

It's not even debatable. There are two separate and distinct (different) narratives in the Genesis creation story.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

You have a JW argument, 'The Bible doesn't mean what it says'. Do you believe the promises of Christian salvation? Do they mean what they say? You reject the Flood, the burning of Sodom, eternal Hell ... Is there anything you believe in the Bible to be literal???
