Those commandments were not written on the tables that God made and written on by His own finger.Context and Context and again, Context!
1...Historically the Commandment was directed at Israel .....they were the recipients of what was written by the finger of God on stone yet these commandments applied to all peoples.
2...From a Spiritual point of view according to Paul, all who embrace the Gospel in their hearts are deemed Israel
They call it 'inward' repentance by which they are saved by grace.Arthur Pink Sermon the Mount
Any preacher who rejects God's law,
who denies repentance
to be a condition of salvation,
who assures the giddy and godless
that they are loved by God,
who declares that saving faith is nothing more
than an act of the will
which every person has the power to perform
is a false prophet
and should be shunned as a deadly plague.

The law of Moses with covenant of the God of Israel, was written to them specifically to obey, and any that desired to enter into that covenant were bound to obey it.Context and Context and again, Context!

The law of Moses with covenant of the risen God of Israel is written to all, even as all are now commanded to repent and believe Jesus, and it is them that confess faith, that God expects to obey.
I suggest nothing. What I say is:John 6:65-66 reads:
65) And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given him of my Father.
66) From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
BECAUSE they thought all they had to do was confess faith as you have suggested.
To God Be The Glory
None of this includes the law of Moses given by the God of Israel, which ended, when He died at the cross. Now the law of Christ is given to us by the risen God and Saviour, Jesus, which we are bound to keep and do to abide in Him and not be broken off as a dead branch with dead faith.
What I say is:
We are to confess and keep an obey the faith of the Lord Jesus, the doctrine of Christ and of His apostles, which is His Word and law...
What I say is:
You finally got it. Good job. Very smart. I was beginning to wonder about your cognitive abilities.rds has all these lengthy pretentious smooth talk posts by reason singly and for purpose solely of "the day The Seventh Day Sabbath OF THE LORD GOD", to get rid of it and forget it and NOT "REMEMBER the Sabbath the LORD resting revived and reviving rested on".
If not "GOD thus concerning the Seventh Day spake IN THAT on the day The Seventh Day He from ALL his works RESTED BY THE SON", no arrogant mortal ever would have had a word to say against the Sabbath OF THE LORD their soul so loathes.

You have shown yourself a true Sabatismal Scholar and Warrior of the highest order.
I hope all your Sabbaths are fulfilled with all the outward righteousnesses, that you so plainly deserve. I would be proud of you, but then I think you got enough for yourself.
Do ya'll use camouflage while conducting Sabbath Commando raids, when you launch out in war of proselytization?
Maybe that shade of blue on the hem of the robe? Little bells to ring, if you catch one?
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
I am not surprised you cannot comprehend accurately what is being written by someone else, since you do the same with Scripoture itself.Voetsek Satan!
So, our Lord Jesus changed Faith, doctrine, His Word and law? That's not so. Rather your, <<Faith, doctrine, Word and law>> changed Lord and Saviour. Undoubtedly, because Christians confess, believe and obey THE ONLY, GOD the Almighty, Father Son and Holy Spirit, whom all True Believers EVER have confessed, believed and obeyed.
Never heard it like that before. Sounds good and Scriptural to me.Christians aren't required to hold to the Jew's sabbath (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset). Sunday is considered a rest day for Christians, and it is NOT the Jew's sabbath. So calling Sunday Church the sabbath of The Bible really isn't correct per God's Word. And by the way, the early Apostles, who were all Jews, still kept the Biblical sabbath, and then on the first day of the week, Sunday, met and had Church.
