God’s AcceptancePart 11In “our own” acceptance, we are only wrapped up in doing evil which are “self-motivated” deeds because “our own” words are NOT [good]. The gracious works of God are so that we can have an upright/righteous life (Mic 7:3, and 2:7).We can only work the evil of iniquity (self-motivated deeds) when the power is of “our own selves” (rather than the power of God working in us) (Mic 2:1) ARE YOU IN THIS CAPTIVITY OF WORKING THE EVIL OF INIQUITY?? If not, then [you can be corrected by the word] without being delicate which is “EASILY OFFENDED” (Mic 1:16); Because whom the Lord “loves” He chastens (corrects through instruction) and these children of God do NOT despise this chastening process/season which IS of God because [they are able to ASK god to help them] endure this chastening so that they can become one of His children (Heb 12:6-5, and 7).Believers, who are without being a partaker of this chastening process, are “bastards” (illegitimate children) (Heb 12:8). THIS CHASTENING PROCESS IS MEANT TO BE “GRIEVOUS”, so that those who are exercised by it can yield the peaceable fruits of righteousness afterwards (Heb 12:11). A willingness to go through this chastening IS acceptable to God (2 Cor 8:12). This willingness comes from the power of God, NOT “our own selves” (2Cor 8:3), so that we can perform that which God gives us the willingness to do (8:11); And all of this work of God in us to be willing and to perform is for His good pleasure (Phil 2:13).Our earthly father of the flesh corrected us, and we gave him reverence, so without our “subjection” to the Father through the Spirit, in THIS chastening process, we are without (everlasting) life (Heb 12:9). For our earthy father chastened us for “his own” pleasure; but the Father does this so that we can be profitable (to others) by being a partaker of His holiness (Heb 12:10), which holy means having UNDERSTANDING (Prov 9:10).HAVE YOU BEEN GIVEN THE POWER OF GOD TO ACCEPT THIS EXHORTATION?? (2 Cor 8:17) If so, then you can travel with this grace (of the power of God at work) to the church because you have been chosen to be a messenger for the glory of Christ (8:19, and 23). This IS how we show the “proof” of our love to the church (8:24). For in THESE THINGS is how we serve Christ, and are accepted by God because we are following after peace by edifying others (with this grace of the power of God at work) (Rom 14:18-19). This is why it is said that by God’s mercy, we can be acceptable unto Him by presenting our bodies as living sacrifices with holiness (of understanding) by no longer being conformed to the things/people of this world because our minds have been transformed to “prove” that by THE WILL OF GOD is what is good, perfect, and acceptable (Rom 12:1-2).CAN YOU PROVE WHAT IS ACCEPTABLE TO GOD?? (Eph 5:10) If not, you are walking in darkness (of ignorance of the grace of God at work) (Eph 5:8) by the deception of a man with vain words because you are without the wisdom of understanding of what the will of God IS (Eph 5:6, and 17). Rather be a follower of God, so that you can learn to walk in love (that edifies others in the truth which reveals the grace of God at work see Col 1:6) and be an acceptable, sweet smelling savor to God (5:1-2).
