I believe God's cup of wrath was poured out on the nation of Israel in 70Ad.

That wrath no longer abides today, in my best estimation.

What does remain, check out Revelation 21-22.

God loves all people, and he calling them, and they aren't subject to his wrath anymore if that was already poured out and done away with.

Anyone who hears, that decides to come, that is up to them.

Anyone who doesn't want anything to God period. That is up to them.

Today everything has been restored to the way it was in the Garden of Eden.

I didn't do this study for any other reason than to figure what this whole cup thing was about concerning the wrath of God.

Once a cup is poured out - and its only poured out one time - Jesus said the time would never be so great again!

- It's empty today -

This more harder of a subject for people to talk on cause they don't even look it up and figure it out for themselves....

Sad. They just repeat GODS WRATH ABIDES TODAY..... lol.

I'm not saying that God doesn't have his vengance on evil doers - IE: people being found out and going to prison for their crimes, or having their life taken before time or whatever...

Gods wrath only abided only on Israel... as a promise when they were divorced......

With Jesus and his overcoming over sin, death, hell, satan.... God is not mad with the world like so many individuals are...

SO many people hate this world, they hate the people in it.

They just repeat GODS WRATH ABIDES TODAY..... lol.

Every Christ rejector who died today not born again went to Hell, even tho many of them beleive that its not there.
They found out differently once they arrived.

John 3:36 says that God's wrath abides on unbelievers.....right now.
THey are Hell bound, right now......and the way out of that, is to trust in Christ, as this frees them from damnation.

This is what it means to be "Saved".

Let’s go back to the actual context — the days and times that were appointed for them. You can quote certain verses all day, but that doesn’t mean they apply universally or eternally. The wrath of God was poured out already — not on Jesus, but on the generation that rejected Him and the covenant.

"These be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled." — Luke 21:22
"For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled." — Luke 21:22

That happened in 70 A.D. — Jerusalem faced judgment, just as Jesus warned.
So if you’re still clinging to wrath as if it’s hovering over people today, maybe you’re missing the point. I don’t celebrate wrath. I prefer mercy over judgment.

"I desire mercy, not sacrifice." — Hosea 6:6 / echoed in Matthew 9:13
"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy." — Matthew 5:7

Yes, God has vengeance. When corruption is exposed, when justice is served — whether in prison or in public — that’s part of His righteousness. But vengeance isn’t the centerpiece of the gospel.

The centerpiece is victory — over death, hell, Satan, and sin.
"He was manifested to destroy the works of the devil." — 1 John 3:8
"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?" — 1 Corinthians 15:55

So you can argue your point against me. I’m not going to keep going back and forth. I’m standing in the victory of Christ — not in the recycling of wrath.

Thanks for your view. I disagree.

And I’m moving forward, in standing in faith and reassurance concerning the victory of Jesus, over death, hell, satan, and sin today.

Please be careful of people who try to get you to go back to the days of Jesus as though you are living in them now, and today is the Last Days.

It's just not true. I do actively and assert for people to use the ignore features on this website...

There will always be people who disagree with you and that is cool, but they also teach messages as though things are for today, when they are concluding the context and contents in obsecure manners because they have an agenda.

Scaring people isn't cool.
Neither is lying to them.

The wrath of God was poured out already — not on Jesus

The reason that Jesus asked God to let the "CUP pass from me" is becasue He understood that God's wrath against the sin of the world, was going to be poured out on Him on The Cross.
It was., and that is why it will never be poured out on a Christian.....as Jesus has already taken it upon Himself.
Whereas, if you are not a Christian, and die this way, then God's Wrath that is "damnation" that is "the 2nd Death", that is JOHN 3:36...will find you in Hell, and that is just the beginning.

So, to be "SAVED" from This WRATH..... = "Jesus SAVES"...........He tells us how to be saved from it.

A.) "YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN".....Jesus says.

, but on the generation that rejected Him and the covenant.

Is your Preterism needing more attention Again?

So, the TRIB that has not started yet, but is soon to come according to all of the signs of the Times.......such as what has happened to Israel, and we see the entire world now turned against them.......as prophecied as a specific "end times" sign......God is about to end the "time of the gentiles" and resume His dealing with the Jew, and the 144,000 will stand up and all the rest as the NT teaches.
At the end of this 7yrs........Jesus is coming back........to "take vengeance on all those who do not OBEY the Gospel".
2 Thess 1:8-9
That has not happened yet.

Jesus took on the cup of sorrows. Not the cup of wrath.

Behold - You're points are moot to me. Why don't you just make your own thread?

I'm not gonna believe anything you say... no matter what most of the time, especially on this subject. ( I literally spent 2.5 hours writing down on paper - concerning the Wrath of God.)

Making prods and pokes of me beliving in the victory of Jesus - is just stupid.

Go away, go make your own threads.

Jesus took on the cup of sorrows. Not the cup of wrath.

There is no "cup of sorrows" verse found in a NT.
Could you post the mame of the commentary or online site you are using to "cut and paste" your latest theology false discovery @MatthewG ?

Listen..
The "Cup" symbolizes the suffering, death, and wrath of God that JESUS was about to endure for the sins of humanity.

The "Cup" was the initial scourging Jesus endured, and the final Crucifixion that Jesus endured, that satisfied God's Justice that is the judgment against the sin of the world.
People who have not been rescused by Jesus's offering will go to Hell and in fact ... that is just the beginning of their eternal damnation.

The "CUP" that was poured out on Jesus...is God's Judgment agains the Sin of the World.., and we see by the massacre of Jesus's body that it was indeed the serious WRATH of God that Hit Him as that whipping and by that Crucifixion.

Behold - You're points are moot to me. Why don't you just make your own thread?

You are a person who drinks Mushroom Tea to " psilocybin trip"... brags about it here on the Forum....and so, you also want to be a TEACHER on a "Christian forum".
That's not going to work out for you.

Your false teachings try to deceive people. and you think this is a "LOL".
You have so many false teachings that you cast out.... LIKE.....>>"no Devil".. "no Hell"..... "Preterism".....and now you are confused about the "Cup" Jesus bor, , and want to spread your confusion to as many as you can.

So, i see you doing this on the Forum, and this allows me the option to correct you, not for your sake, as you are past being corrected MR "Schroom TEA".. but the other Christians here........can be misled by you, so, that's not going to happen on This Thread.
Believe it.

Im so thankful the cup is empty today! And Gods wrath doesnt abide forever!

Let me tell you something reader whoever it is, I was looking at this bible study and oh man...

It was dreadful all the way up til i found out that Gods wrath did not last forever.

I did this study because people continued to espouse that Jesus was the one who took the wrath...

that didnt make any darn sense to me! Cause what did Jesus do. He didnt sin, why make him take the wrath...

I found out the wrath was coming for the nation in their choices becauase of the promises made in the Old Testament!

Im so thankful the cup is empty today! And Gods wrath doesnt abide forever!

The "2nd death" lasts for as long as God lives.
And that's a Christ's rejectors eternity. It starts in Hell, and continues beyond.

It was dreadful all the way up til i found out that Gods wrath did not last forever.

God's wrath does end regarding the unbeliever who "died in their sins".....never born again.
It DOES end.... the moment a Christ rejecter is "SAVED", as this puts them "in Christ" forgiven, "having passed from DEATH to LIFE">

Whereas the CHRIST REJECTOR< has not passed from death to Life, and Hell is the beginning of their eternal damnation, that is their 2nd Death, that began their entire life, as they lived till they died,= Rejecting Christ who would have SAVED them from Hell.

"Jesus SAVES"............ you from Hell.

Hell is over with according to the bible,

Let The Revelation show you where Hell "ends".

Revelation 20:14 states that """""death and Hell will be thrown (cast) into the lake of fire..""

So, the people who went to Hell today and yesterday and tomorrow.......have that to look foward to... as their eternity.

I hate it for human beings being mad at human beings. I know I get tired of peoples stuff, I give respect but then eventually people lose my respect after awhile.

I completely understand that people believe that Gods wrath still abides today.
I completely understand that people continue to believe people go to hell today.
I completely understand that people also assume Jesus took the wrath of God.

But what people believe - and what they hold to their heart is very revealing. Its not ever about saving anyone...

It's about repeating things to themselves, in order for them not to forget what they read...

Well I done read the Gospels. I done studied into them and understand what is going on in the context of things.

Im not trying to pull one verse out of scripture and hang my life on it.

My foretellings are of a completely different nature, it's by the whole of context, and contents, in conjuction with the holy spirit.

Any of the mods can tell me I am wrong, some of them believe I am wrong - But I don't care what they believe.

I don't care what your grandpa believes, I don't care what your grandma believes, I don't care what you sister or your brother, your momma, your daddy or your friends believe!

What I do care about is what the bible shares with us and lets us know about concerning Gods wrath and it being poured out on the nation of Israel as promised, on the great and dreadful day of the LORD (heck some people dont even know about those things!)

So with all that said... Believe whoever you want, do not believe me... Cause apparently to most people on here I'm leading you straight to hell.

They are not considerant people, they don't care what you believe either. They care about what they believe and they say believe me I am the truth the way and the life.
