I didnt ask you about the 'truth that set you free".
I asked you, = "how did you become a Christian". ??
Did you want to try again.......and answer THAT Question?
And I told you in some detail how I became a Christian….hearing the truth and responding to it like the first century Jews did who believed Jesus to be the Messiah…..it took real courage to step out of the accepted national religion and to adopt what was seen by the majority as apostasy!…..yet that is exactly what the first Christians did…all of them were Jewish and they were ostracized and persecuted by those who remained under the teachings of the Pharisees.
It made them enemies even in their own families…..nothing new there. (Matt 10:34-39) Blood ties are not more important that God’s truth. (Matt 10:37-39)
Its the initial eternal location were a person who has not satifisfied Gods one requirement.......finds themselves in eternal Damnation, right after their last Heartbeat.
You wont be finding it on the Map.
Hmmmm….the ”initial location”…what an odd terminology….where will I find that in Paul’s teachings?
You won’t find it on a map?…well, you won’t find it in the Bible either. There is no such thing as “damnation”….another Catholic concept that went with hellfire.
Jesus said that "if you die in your sins"..... then you'll never go to Heaven., so, there is only one other option, and its not the "Grave".
Who told you this? The only options that God gave Israel did not involve “heaven or hell” at all…..they were offered two option, but these were “life or death”.
Deut 30:19-20…
”I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.” (ESV)
They could choose life by their obedience to God’s commands, but if they chose not to obey, the curse of death awaited them…..no “heaven or hell” was mentioned to them. That idea popped up when belief in immortal souls took root and destinations had to be invented so that the ignorant masses would be too scared not to do as “the church” told them…..are you still lost in that Catholic maze?
The Spirit is LIFE in all creatures, and the spirit in a human, is "let us make man in our image"..
The “spirit” in Eccl 3:19-20 is translated as “breath” in many modern translations like the ESV and the NASB.
A spirit in the Bible is not the same as a soul….since all living, breathing creatures are called “souls” in Genesis, only humankind were “made in God’s image”…and we know that, as a spirit, God has no need of “breathing”….the air that his creatures were provided with on this earth.
Both man and animals breathe the same air and when death occurs, breathing ceases for all of them. Both end up in the same place. (Eccl3:19-20) Only humans were promised a resurrection.
Details are important and they have to be logical, and fit in with all other scripture.
What you wrote is not related to what is going to happen to a Christian.
Notice.....>>""""in my Fathers house are many mansions< and i go to prepare a place for you".....
See that?
That is not on Earth.
Well, I seem to see a lot of things that you apparently overlook…..Heaven is reserved for the elect alone. The very reason why Jesus went to prepare a place for them…..so that they could be where he was…..and he said that “the wold would not see him again.” So he isn’t coming back to the earth, but neither are all Christians going to heaven.
What then is the purpose of taking some Christians as “firstfruits” to God and the Lamb, to a completely foreign environment for humans?…a place where humans cannot exist unless they undergo a transformation? Does the Bible speak of this transformation?
That is not what I asked you. Try again…..in what kind of body was Jesus raised? Try using Scripture….
Paul's Doctrine is The Doctrine for the Body of Christ.
So its essential that a Christian, learn it.
If not, they'll end up a Hebrews 6:1, and a Cult will get them, as explained by Hebrews 13:9
As you know.
Are you suggesting that Paul preached a different gospel to what the other apostles did?
Well, I hate to have to break this to you, but you sound like you are involved in some kind of cult too….
Your beliefs are more bizarre than what you think mine are….
The born again .. "in the Time of the Gentiles".... are "Christ's Elect"....and they should be water baptized, subsequent to their Salvation.
What is “the time of the gentiles”, exactly? When did these “times” begin and end?
It certainly wasn't Paul's Gospel, that was given in the "time of The Gentiles" that started AFTER Jesus was Crucified.
Not even close….the times of the gentiles began when Israel were taken captive to Babylon…..so began the ongoing gentile domination of God’s people and the takeover of their land, till Messiah’s return. When he walked the earth, Rome was the dominant world power and they held God’s people in subjection. Dominant gentile powers continued to subjugate God’s people right down to our day…the time for his return.
Note that Paul was not an Apostle when Jesus was performing His ministry for the House Of Israel.
Paul was a Pharisee at that time.
Yes, and how grateful was Paul that Jesus intervened in his life and turned him from murdering Christians to being one of his foremost apostles…..Paul was at home in settings that the other apostles would have found difficult….and as an “apostle to the nations”, Paul was an educated man, who could address the Greek philosophers and political leaders in a way that his fellow apostles could not, in any credible way….yet why did Jesus choose uneducated men to be his main foundation? Do you know?
You're a JW.....aren't you?
Proudly so……but….what are you?
