Psalm 27:5
[5] For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Psalm 31:20-21
[20] Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. [21] Blessed be the Lord : for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

Pavilion: a hut or lair:-{booth} {cottage}{covert}{tabernacle}{tent}

Jeremiah 43:9-13
[9] Take great stones in thine hand, and hide them in the clay in the brickkiln, which is at the entry of Pharaoh's house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah; [10] And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them. [11] And when he cometh, he shall smite the land of Egypt, and deliver such as are for death to death; and such as are for captivity to captivity; and such as are for the sword to the sword. [12] And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace. [13] He shall break also the images of Beth-shemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians shall he burn with fire.

Psalm 83:1-3
[1] Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. [2] For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. [3] They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.

Job 38:20-25
[20] That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof? [21] Knowest thou it , because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great? [22] Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, [23] Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? [24] By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth? [25] Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

Zephaniah 2:3 Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgement; seek righteousness, and seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger.

Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.

Greetings in Christ, sister.

I take my namesake from Colossians 3:3. "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life shall appear then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth..." (Colossians 3:1-5)

I take the hidden ones here to be those who draw no attention to themselves, but crucify their fleshly and soulish desires daily so that the One the world sees is not them but Christ manifesting Himself through them (Galatians 2:20). It refers to the meek and the humble, who want only to decrease that Christ may increase within them (John 3:30-31). So too with your verses. It refers to the humble, who with a contrite spirit seek God's protection from the powerful, the proud, and the haughty.

< Hidden ones. Where are they hidden? And who are they? >

As I see it..it is the wise, like King David.
The ones who know how to abide in the secret place of the Most High.

I like the verse in
Exodus where it says ..

It came to pass when Moses entered the tabernacle that the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle and the Lord talked with Moses. - Exodus 33:9
Joshua doesn’t even show up in the story until Moses left the presence to carry out his God-given assignment. Maybe the reason the Lord chose Joshua to lead Israel in, is that he remained in the glory of God at the tabernacle when it would have been easy to seek the glory of man. Back to the heart again.. :)
"And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle."

Hidden in God...the only place of safety. ✟
