Holiness is based on LIFE from heaven...the life of Jesus Christ IN us. But what of the law of sin that is in us? Is it not like the law of gravity that keeps us in bondage to this world through sin?

YES!

But there is a new law that is come through the resurrection life of Jesus. It is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. This new law acts like the law of flight that makes eagles soar into the heavens. Does this new law abolish the law of sin and death? No, it overcomes it in the same way that the law of flight doesn't abolish gravity.

So then we are taking walking by faith to a whole new level. God has upped the ante, as it were.

We begin our spiritual journey by receiving a new divine nature within us. We receive a deposit of His love in our new hearts. But we will not receive His resurrection life unless we go to Him. That is the whole purpose of the Covenant....that we learn to GO TO HIM.

By faith it is now possible to walk as Jesus walked. But this takes a new kind of faith. We need to go from faith (ours) to Faith (His). The New Covenant is established with God on a one-by-one basis so that we are truly in connection with Him. We must seek Him and find Him in order to partake of His holiness. We must believe INTO Him and learn to live IN Him. It is only by abiding IN Christ that we bear holy fruit.

We must meet God's righteous requirements before we can become partakers of His holiness and become ambassadors for His kingdom. We must be approved as Abel was approved. Our sacrifice (of ourselves) must be accepted by God.

Humble yourself in the sight of God...and He will lift you up in His time.

what law of sin in us? what are you referring too? if we are complete in Christ and we have His righteousness and Holiness then how is sin able to live in us?

So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. Rom. 7:17

This is the law of sin and death that is in our members which is like a default setting when we are walking in our own strength and not in the Spirit.

To whom much is given more is required. The purpose of being born again is to desire to meet God. So then we each need to personally go before the Lord in order to be approved and given the grace that overcomes all things.

But this takes a new kind of faith.

faith simple means trust.

That is all we do, there is no special 'faith' that enables super spiritual Christians to more than not super spiritual Christiand.
If there were it would be a work enabling them to earn their salvation.

We are saved, sustained and ultimatly raised to glory ALL by the undeserved grace and love of God.

There is another kind of faith. There is a kind of faith that moves mountains. Was Jesus exaggerating? At any rate we are to go from faith to Faith. From our own kind of human faith to the Faith of Jesus Christ. His faith...His life.

Rom 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

There are 2 levels of faith.

In the original Hebrew text it is written as "The just shall live by his faith"...and this for the very reason that it is now possible to live by His faith...the faith of Jesus. So then we live the life of Jesus by the faith of Jesus.

Do a study on how many times it says the faith OF Christ.

Gal. 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, being shut up to the faith which was later to be revealed.

Did nobody have faith before Jesus came? Or did Jesus bring something new...The faith from above.

The bible tells us that faith is a gift from God.
Yes, there is the spiritual gift of faith mentioned in 1 Cor 12 (and not all will be given this gift). But saving faith comes from hearing the Gospel, which is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes (Rom 1:16). Calvinists claim that only the elect receive saving faith, but that is not true. It is available to all who hear the Gospel.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Rom 10:17) And Peter says the Word of God is also the Gospel in this context (1 Pet 1:23-25).

And this faith continues in believers, since the just (the justified ones) shall live by faith. Moreover Jesus said that if one has faith as tiny as a mustard seed, he can move mountains.

You are missing the point.
A great many people hear the word of God, read it, study it and are not saved.
It is God's gift of faith that enables us to believe the word.
