But see you just stop quoting that chapter, missing entirely the message in it.
Keep on reading.
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” 17 So then faith
comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
18 But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed:
“Their sound has gone out to all the earth,
And their words to the ends of the world.”
19 But I say, did Israel not know? First Moses says:
“I will provoke you to jealousy by
those who are not a nation,
I will move you to anger by a foolish nation.”
20 But Isaiah is very bold and says:
“I was found by those who did not seek Me;
I was made manifest to those who did not ask for Me.”
21 But to Israel he says:
“All day long I have stretched out My hands
To a disobedient and contrary people.”
Verse 16 is not to be understood outside of the context of the next but you deliberately left it off to deceive the unwary and try to prove your agenda.
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” 17 So then faith
comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Then you also left out this
20 But Isaiah is very bold and says:
“I was found by those who did not seek Me;
I was made manifest to those who did not ask for Me.”
Both are Calvanist oriented themed proofs.
v16, is true, no one believes our report in their natural state unless God enlightens their mind by making them born again by the Spirit.
v17, SO THEN FAITH comes by hearing. BUT the HEARING is God's gift to those God is saving, 'and hearing by the word of God'
Man shall not live by bread alone, he only lives by the word of God spoken to him so that he has spiritual life
Matthew 4:4
But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
Romans 10:20, also proves that those who find God were not looking for God or asking for God. God first makes them born again by the Spirit so that they can be taught by the Spirit and believe in Christ.
Yet your religious philosophy demands man do that or he cannot be saved... You're playing the part of a hypocrite against the scriptures by actually attacking them, what they teach.
