This is not a war anymore than Johnson's "war on poverty" was a war or Reagan's "war on drugs" was a real way.
Not at all. I blame them for being so ill prepared; but the point is that people are getting to the idea they don't need to prepare -- if they get into trouble, the feds will rescue them.
Don't forget our horrible campaign finance laws.
And the system now is that rich people have more influence since they have more money.

This morning, one of our local news outlets printed a story about a woman who had a double lung transplant and defied the odds. Who past away from Covid 19 in March,
The cause? She went to eat with a friend, and contracted the disease
Facts, If she would have stayed home. She would still be alive..Its not like this is a car accident or something we can not control. We can control this, By not putting ourselves in harms way, and the government, Who was VOTED in to protect us Gave us a way to actually complete this task. By shutting down non essential businesses temporarily
Then they voted in a massive bill to help people while they were home, And made it so it is more beneficial to get unemployment than to go to work. (A mistake I may add)
before this happened, We had half the country scared wanting to stay home. And the other have defying the order saying how dare they tell us what to do. We will do whatever we want, Even having their states tell them to do this (think NY, New Orleans and california) and guess what, Where were the hardest hit areas?

I thin you're confusing what someone else wrote with what I did. Historyb is the fellow who got mad about it, not me.
That's when I asked him, "You don't believe in free enterprise? You want the government to dictate to YouTube and Facebook what they can and cannot do?" He's the one who was angry. He sees Facebook and YouTube's policies as threatening his freedom and wants people to fight about it.
I was not arguing for a move to socialism and liberalism. You are not understanding what I write. I advocate equal rights for everyone, not more rights for people because they're rich and can politicians. I am tired of seeing some of the crazy political ads over and over -- some are from a group aligned with George Soros -- I also don't want to see lots of crazy ads over and over from "conservative" groups that are backed up by billionaires. I also didn't want to see ads from Bloomberg just because he has money to burn.
And I fell sorry for you. You do not seem to see the wisdom in what Paul wrote that the love of money is the root of many evils.

Here is an example of something which I think should be banned by Facebook; and if they don't start banning this kind of hate, my guess is they'll get sued and prosecuted. This kind of threat wouldn't be allowed in real life and should not be allowed online.

Churches closed?
My local church has been gathering together since this started. yeah it might be on Zoom. But my church never closed
Church is not a building. That's the mistake of the traditional church, they think it is a place you meet on Sunday and maybe wed night prayer meeting. Where you sing some hymns and listen to a 20 minute sermonette Shake hands and tell everyone you will see them next Sunday (or wed)
Church is a body of believers, I think people need to look at the book of Acts. They will see, the church of acts looks nothing like the Traditional churches we have seen for the past centuries..
As for leaving baby mills open. You have the liberals to thank for that. They need to buy a few voters.
As a Leftist you should know that Facebook is all about attacking conservatives and conservative messages (including Christians) while giving total liberty to all Left-Liberals and Communists. As far as I'm concerned, Facebook should be banned for spreading the insidious virus of disinformation. Facebook has become another tool in the hand of America's enemies.
I think Facebook would do anything if they thought there was money in it.
And let's see: When Democrats get back in power, you think they should have the right to ban conservative sites?
I think the laws need to be written better and then enforced. Other forms of social media need to be included so the people in India stop lynching people based on rumors they read on social media sites.
