And as I already educated you – the Bible doesn’t teach this. Jesus left us with a Church to lead and instruct – NOT a Book
True. Jesus didn't leave a book. He left His word, which is of infinite authority far and above your church's word, it's councils, and decrees.
The Catholic Church is the original Tree
Wrong. The Catholic Church became an offshoot when it aligned herself in an adulterous relationship with the kings of this world.

Can you please give your testimony of being born again and leaving the Catholic Church? Thanks.

come now my friend lets not turn this into an attack .
What DEBP did was A good thing .
Not an evil thing nor to accuse and condemn . BUT TO HELP any and all
who might be trapped in a dangerous place .
IF you swam under a large boat and saw holes all under it
WOULD you not have surfaced and warned the peoples GET OFF this boat is gonna sink .
We warn cause we desire NONE to perish .
We warn cause we desire NONE to perish .
We warn cause we desire NONE to perish .
SO lets warn folks and not allow sin upon them . THERE IS NO LOVE
but only hate in the heart of a man who warns not those in danger .
As it is written .
YE shall not hate your neighbor in your heart , YOU SHALL correct him and not allow SIN upon Him .
We warn cause we desire NONE to perish
WE warn cause we desire none to perish . Hope that helps

I gave you 4 verses in Revelation and it is discussed by all NT authors as eminent.

“Behold,[fn] I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.

“Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Just remember that he is coming slowly like a turtle.
Soooo, YOU think that God is bound by YOUR expectations of “quickly”??

Flawed
interpretations of Scripture are HARDLY evidence of Jesus’s return . . .
Jesus
warned about false prophets and deceivers like YOU (Matt. 24:4-28,
Matt. 7:15).
But this is not true. It was with many splinters of "orthodoxy" including Nestorian.
WRONG.

Nestorian didn’t write a SINGLE line of Scripture – nor did ANYONE past the
1st century.
The Hebrew Scriptures were also ignored by the RCC and Eastern Orthodox for a long time.
That’s complete nonsense.

The Early Fathers frequently quoted and referenced the OT iin their writings. From the FIRST century, we have the Didache, the Letter to the Corinthians (Clement of Rome), the Letter of Barnabas.

From the SECOND and THIRD centuries, men like Polycarp of Smyrna, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Origen, Hippolytus, and MANY more who used the OT to show prophecy, typology, and symbolism.

Do your
homework . . .
And God is not the author but is the inspiration.
WRONG.

2 Tim. 3:16
emphatically states that “ALL Scripture is God-breathed (Teopneustos)” - which means that HE is the Author. He inspired men in Ghis Church to write it down.

Ergo – the Bible came out of His Church and NOT the other way around . . .

They failed to do it in the 1st century. I wonder why.
GOD inspired the Canon - AND the timing of its declaration to the world.
For YOU to make such a moronic statement is to accuse GOD Himself of making a mistake.

Good job, sparky . .

Interesting, but irrelevant to the Christian faith mostly. The 7 books are crackpot stories and wisdom.
That’s because YOU have chosen to accept a flawed OT Canon that was edited by a POST-CHRITS, POST-TEMPLE rabbinical gathering led by a FALSE PROPHET (Akiva) who declared a FALSE CHRIST (Kokhba).

The Catholic Church, led by the Holy Spirit, includes the 7 Books that were part of the open Canon during the life of Jesus. The NT contains over one hundred references and quotes from the 7 Deuterocanonical Books.

It is neither for nor against. Another of your blunders. HOW unEXPECTED!
WRONG.

I told you that I couldn’t include the because of text constraints on this forum. That’s why I only gave you a few examples. If you want to start another thread on this subject alone – I will provide you with the bulk of the evidence – ALL non-Catholic . . .

It has everything to do with it. The Eastern Catholics don't agree with the Latiners' interpretations, or what they see in their eyes as heresy. Jesus was the other rock, and cornerstone, but what is the cornerstone of Rome. Peter? Mary?
Latin has NOTHING to do with it. It is Aramaic translated into Koine Greek.
Yes, but Latin and Aramaic/hebrew are rarely used in the New Testament. The genders also make a big difference.
Who said anything about Latin??
As for Aramaic – there are several examples in the NT:
Talitha cum (Mark 5:41)
Ephphatha (Mark 7:34)
Abba (Mark 14:36)
Raca (Matthew 5:22)
Rabbouni (John 20:16)
Eli Eli lema sabachthani (Matthew 27:46)
Hosanna (Mark 11:9)

Maranatha (1 Corinthians 16:22)
If it is only about size, then it is still different kinds of rock.
Hogwash.

Greek scholarship is unanimous that In Aramaic, Kepha is a masculine noun that means "rock/stone”. Size is never referenced.

"The meaning is, 'You are Peter, that is Rock, and upon this rock, that is, on you, Peter, I will build my church.' Our Lord, speaking Aramaic, probably said, 'And I say to you, you are Kepha, and on this kepha I will build my church.'" --William Hendriksen, New Testament Commentary: Exposition on the Gospel According to Matthew, (Grand Rapids, MI: Baker, 1973), 647.

"In Aramaic 'Peter' and Rock are the same word; in Greek (here), they are cognate terms that were used interchangeably by this period." --Craig S. Keener,The IVP Bible Background Commentary New Testament, (Downer's Grove, IL: Intervarsity Press, 1993), 90.

"Although it is true that petros and petra can mean 'stone' and 'rock' respectively in earlier Greek, the distinction is largely confined to poetry." --Frank E. Gaebelein, ed., The Expositor's Bible Commentary: Volume 8 (Matthew, Mark, Luke), (Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan, 1984), 368.

The Authority that Jesus gives to Peter in verse19 mirrors that which was given to Eliakim in Isa. 22:20-22.

Linguistic scholars also agree on this point:

"The keys of the kingdom would be committed to the chief steward in the royal household and with them goes plenary authority." --George Buttrick and others, eds., The Interpreter's Bible, (New York: Abingdon, 1951), 453.

"The authority of Peter is to be over the Church, and this authority is represented by the keys." --S. T. Lachs, A Rabbinic Commentary on the New Testament: The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, (Hoboken, NJ: Ktav, 1987), 256.

FYI - NONE of the above scholars are
Catholic . . .

I actually fulfilled my faith in Christ by rejecting all the man made doctrines of protestantism, the 45,000 various groups and the silly notion that the bible is a magic eight ball where you can ask questions and God will reveal the answer... the answer that works for you, of course.

This man has come to bring this people to deception .
For he points to the RCC .
Making the claim that THE CHURCH IS THE FINAL AUTHORITY .
Kinda odd .
WHO DID JESUS say , and what DID JESUS say was the final authority .
MY WORDS SHALL BE YOUR JUDGE .
and dont ya find it kinda odd that THIS so called church

which cliams itself as the final authority
Jesus IS the final Authority. That’s why He was able to say the following . . .

a. He
and His Church are ONE and the same (Acts 9:4-5).

b. He transferred HIS Authority to His Church - to speak on HIS behalf (Matt. 16:18-19, Matt. 18:15-18, Luke 10:16, John 20:21-22).

c.
He guaranteed that the Holy Spirit would guise His Church to ALL TRUTH (John 16:12-15).

YOU don’t understand because you reject His truth.
Either you take Him at His word – or you
DON’T . . .
Yes, he is a Catholic apologist....why else would he come to a Christian forum? No reason but to debate Christians.
Because, as a Catholic – I AM a Christian.

In fact – we were the very FIRST Christians . . .

Christians who are trusting in the Lord Jesus for our salvation as Jesus taught us.
Then, why do you reject His Body and Blood in the Eucharist?

Why do you embrace Sola Scriptura – something that Jesus and the Apostles never taught- and in fact,
rejected?

I strive to do His will every day.

YOU’RE the one who thinks that just “calling on His name” is what will save you . . .

No, you see, first God picks you and sends everyone else to hell. They don't have a choice. They deserve hell because they were born sinners and never had a choice. God loves to watch them burn. Next, you don't need to be a good person. Those are works and we'll just skip over the works and faith stuff. While we are at it, baptism and communion have nothing to do with the saving process, they are just symbols. Oh, if you refer to Genesis 1 and 2 as not being a science book, you must be a spawn of Satan. Feel free to cheat on your spouse, because you can't lose salvation. You know this because you spoke in tongues.

These are just some suggested theologies for you to pick at the salad bar.

Any other former Catholic have a testimony of coming to know Christ as their personal Savior?

As I mentioned before, I think some Catholics can be born again, if they truly are just trusting in Jesus for their salvation.

But if a person is new to the Christian faith, (why I made this topic), it's important to get into a good Bible-based church. Rather than learning a lot of unScriptural beliefs.

14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:14-17.

Perhaps, it isn't inspired by God. Have you noticed that there are few miracles and mouthings of Yahweh in them.

Yes, because Latin is far removed from the closest thing the Greek; and the NT was almost entirely Greek.

Because Oral Scriptura is the figment of Catholic and Jewish imaginations. I believe thou is Catholic, but yet to prove you are Christian. It is never likely or a slam dunk.

Catholic do not have a magic moment were they go up to the altar and testify they got "saved." One's faith develops over time. Most Christians in general to not subscribe to this. This comes from the gospel of John Calvin. He argued that God's authority would be compromised if human had a choice. Therefore, God picks you and throws everyone else in hell. How do you know? As a teenager, oftentimes, you become concerned and make up a magic moment in your head and claim you are saved. The only problem is that people get saved and then abandon it. Sooo... those people were never really saved.
Most Christians believe that God is called all of us and we can grow towards Him or away.

As I mentioned before, I think some Catholics can be born again, if they truly are just trusting in Jesus for their salvation.

well good . but you forgot to mention a very deadly and dangerous one . THE UNHOLY RCC who has many trapped
in bondage herself . Lets not forget to warn against her too .
But yeah i hear ya about that too my friend .

all over the place now . Only they come to unify us all to merge as one ag ain , ONLY i seen
what their leaders of interreglgious dialgogue ecumeincal intefaith had to say . DENIED JESUS FOR ALL TO SEE
as they sold them false religions and even christendom A LIE . A LIE .
yeah i said a lie .
THEY told them all we serve the SAME GOD differently that we all
beleive in the same GOD differently . JESUS GOT DENIED .
cause the last time i checked the false religions DO NOT BELEIVE HE IS THE CHRIST .
NO way do they serve the GOD that the SHEEP DO .
WE been decieved big time by a mother of all harlots who has infected ALL realms .
