How rich is too rich?

Yes indeed my friend . Yes indeed . that simple reminder was music to my ears and to my heart .

THERE is , as john once said , NO greater joy than to find brethren walking in truth . It dont matter what i know
I get JOY if others say the same reminders . IT just makes my soul fat and happy when TRUTH is pointed too .
Now leap up my friend , leap up and praise the glorious LORD . HE ALONE IS OUR HOPE , OUR JOY and OUR SALVATION .
I have found that HOPE IN THE LORD ALONE causes my soul to REJOICE , no matter what i am going through . LET THE KINGBE PRAISED .

So guys my main point of this thread, is yes we do need rich people in this world, as some people like talented craftsman, artists, airplane manufacturers, cargo ship manufacturers, helicopter manufacturers etc. they need rich people to survive. Some specialist tradesmen would simply not earn enough to make a living if it weren't for rich people doing business with them.

Out of the many times i read the Law, i have never seen God tell the Israelite community to depend on wealthy people to survive or have a healthy economy. I definitely haven't seen God tell Abraham, Isaac, or Jacob, to depend on wealthy people for their needs. Even in the NT, i don't read anything about Joseph's livelihood as a carpenter, Peter, John, Andrew, and James' livelihood as fishermen, or even Paul's livelihood as a tent maker depending on the existence of wealthy people.

One of the biggest problems God has with people in the modern world is that they have grown accustomed to believing they don't have to really depend on Him for anything, and sadly that includes a lot of professing Christians who only pay lip service about how He is their Provider and about how much they supposedly trust Him. God certainly hasn't changed, nor has He ever neglected to provide whatever His people truly needed as long as they did their part and remained faithful to Him. The more i see this rationale on display, the more i keep being reminded of the OT and Revelation passages where God talks about how He will have to use the Tribulation to free people from their dependence on other human beings. There is a reason why Jeremiah was inspired to write that whoever trusts in man is cursed.
