Jesus is the word of God become flesh (John 1:14). In other words, in Jesus the scriptures became a reality. Therefore, to find the true meanings of the scriptures and have eternal life we must do what Jesus did (John 5:39).

Jesus preached the good news to the poor, healed the sick and brokenhearted and sacrificed his life so that those who betrayed him and were unfaithful to him may have eternal life (Luke 4:18 & Isaiah 61:1). He bore our affliction and oppression silently (Isaiah 53: 5 &7); healed and forgave sinners; and befriended Judas, although he knew that Juda would betray him. Furthermore, during his suffering and death he forgave his persecutors (Luke 23:34); was concerned about the suffering they would bring upon themselves by their sins rather than his own suffering (Luke 23:28). Through his chastisement he freed us from sin and put his spirit into our heart. We must, therefore, love one another as he has loved us (John 13:34-35); quietly bear each other’s burdens, forgive without any limit (Matt. 18:22); stay faithful to our marriage vows, even when there is betrayal and unfaithfulness; bind each other’s wounds; be a servant to others (John 13:14); and never condemn or give up on another human being.
Well, not sure that I see the correlation between the Title of your post, and the body of your OP?
Not to mention, I believe that you completely misinterpreted scripture by exegeting that John 1:14 means that in Jesus, the scriptures become a reality? In other words, which came first, the Bible professing the truth, or Jesus fulfilling it? The scriptures were always real, even before Jesus came to earth. Jesus simply made them clear, as we see where God was leading us the whole time, starting from the Garden of Eden, up to Cavalry, and his ascension. The first-born of creation, and the first-born from the dead, that we too may have life through faith in him. Did Abraham or King David not understand this, or a significant extent, because Christ was not born yet, or 'became flesh'?

Secondly, in order to understand scripture, one does not need to do what Jesus did? In other words, which came first, reading and understanding the Word, then obeying. Or, obeying the Word in hope to understand it? Obviously, if one is not convicted of something, his feigned approach will easily be discerned, and his actions will be in vain. That is, one must understand before acting upon something.
For one may have a very thorough and accurate understanding of scripture, but may not have performed in such an exceptional manner that Jesus or the Apostles did. But, he will still be fruitful.

The best way to interpret the Bible, is to read the Word often, use many translations, use commentaries and expositions, discuss with others, and pray for wisdom and understanding.
Once one has comprehension of God's truth, and learns why to love God & others, then acts that please God will invariably follow.

'And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.'
(John 1:14)

Hello @arunangelo,

I agree that Jesus was the Word made flesh, in that He was the personification of all that the Old Testament Scriptures had taught concerning Him. However I do not believe, as you do, that in order to find the true meaning of Scripture (and have eternal life) we must do what Jesus did, for that is impossible. You quoted John 5:39 as confirmation of what you have said, but what does it actually say?

'And the Father Himself,
.. Which Hath sent Me,
.... hath borne witness of Me.
...... Ye have neither heard His voice at any time,
........ nor seen His shape.
.......... And ye have not His word abiding in you:
for whom He Hath sent,
.. Him ye believe not.
.... Search the scriptures;
...... for in them ye think ye have eternal life:
........ and they are they which testify of me.
.......... And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.'

(John 5:37-40)

* Coming to the Lord Jesus Christ, in simple faith in Him, as the One of Whom the Scriptures testified was the way to receive life from above, for those to whom He spoke as it is for us today, yet they would not do so. Paul said of them:-

'Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
.. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
.... For they being ignorant of God's righteousness,
...... and going about to establish their own righteousness,
........ have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

.......... For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.'
(Romans 10:1-4)

Praise God!

In Christ Jesus
Chris
