Still, in sharing your position, two things are possible: That you encourage some to know that it is okay to be seeing things as you do until if and when you know better, or encouraging some to actually think that what you now only believe is gospel enough. This is not a flex but I studied the bible for 8 years. (Guess that was all I needed I want to do more but I dont have to right now.) I literally read the Gospels several times over. Outloud to myself and even the Epistles letters. So like... I am not saying Im a genius but I am fairly well grounded on everything I have already shared.

I believe Jesus came and gathered the bride, and Im not part of the sealed first century bride of Christ. There is no way I could ever be part of that group cause none of it was ever told to me that I need to be in Israel and watch for Jesus cause I was born in America.

Hey Scott, you keep saying you’re “correcting” me, but most of the time when I share Scripture, you just shut it down with a quick “no.” So I’m honestly not sure what you mean by caring correction, my guy.

I’m not upset — it’s just a little inconsistent.

And yeah, there are a couple thousand people who read what both of us write here. That’s exactly why I try to stay clear about where I stand. I respect my elders, truly, but I’m not you. I don’t have to think like you, and I don’t have to believe everything you say. Scripture even says, “Let each be fully convinced in his own mind” (Romans 14:5).

It just feels like your version of correction is basically, “Matthew, you’re wrong, forget everything you shared, because I’m right.” But that’s not how the apostles taught us to handle disagreements. Paul said, “Test all things; hold fast what is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Not “agree with the older guy automatically.”

I’m simply sharing Scripture and my understanding of it. You’re free to do the same. We don’t have to cancel each other out to do that.

Scott, I’m not trying to judge your experiences — I’m just being honest about what I believe. And yes, you’re right: I don’t believe God is sending people today to declare themselves the Bride of Christ. The apostles are gone, and the Bride has already been gathered just like Scripture shows (Revelation 19:7; 2 Corinthians 11:2).

So from my perspective, God isn’t appointing new “bride‑messengers” in our time. God calls out to people in the ways He always has — through His word, through His Spirit, and even through the heavens themselves. “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims His handiwork” (Psalm 19:1). Creation still speaks, and people either respond or they don’t (Revelation 22:17; John 10:27).

I’m not denying that God works in people’s lives. I just don’t believe He’s working in the specific way you’re describing. That’s all I meant — nothing personal, nothing emotional, just my understanding of how God calls today.

God never changes. A plumbline is a plumbline, sometimes swinging with grace and sometimes not. But you know better than to say I have not shown you grace, I have, and plenty. But much of what I say, is not me speaking, and if it is a time to explain or not to explain, that is not my decision. But I would consider the possibility of God doing what he has always done coming within your hearing, even directly, as a real possibility; and that short answers are to be taken all the more serious, even as the time for talking is over.

So, do take all the time you like, test every spirit, etc., but it is not advisable for any of us to think or believe we can just believe what we want and never change without setting ourselves up for a rude awakening.

A seal in those times,and even today, indicates declarative ownership of a thing. Security and even was a method of assuring private communication. Example, a wax seals applied to a letter,using a stamp pressed into the hot wax,for instance,that bears the initials or family crest of the sender.

I think the passages that tells us we are sealed as believers with,by, holy spirit God is a literary evocation. It impressed upon students of the word to understand that meaning,as they recall seals used in contemporary human communications.

You are secure,safe,and property of God.

And,as Jesus stated, no one shall take you from his hand.

A contemporary exampl for that promise ,harkening back to the seal of holy spirit might be to picture a rolled up scroll. Imagine the impossibility of that scroll of its own free will breaking the embossed wax seal that holds it shut.
Can't happen.

Consider this. When God chooses of his divine free will to call us into his grace and seal us to the end time,he certainly knows what he's doing. And when he calls us, is able to keep eternally whom he calls.
