With Jesus in Paradise, without question.Where do you think your soul would be today if you died yesterday and what is your confidence level is for that being true?
Dear Adrift,Where do you think your soul would be today if you died yesterday and what is your confidence level is for that being true?
I just looked into this a few months ago. I found a dozen verses scattered all over the Bible saying the soul goes to the grave.Where do you think your soul would be today if you died yesterday and what is your confidence level is for that being true?
I believe my spirit is with Christ in the heavenly realm, and that this remains true after my physical death in this realm. I believe to close my eyes here is to open them there. I imagine I'm as certain as a person in this realm can be. I don't think I'm infallible, but this is what I'm expecting.Where do you think your soul would be today if you died yesterday and what is your confidence level is for that being true?

1.) If the body rots?Exactly where God said it would. Returned to him.
Yeah, I remember "evangelism classes" where one of the conversation starters they taught us was to come up to a stranger (or even a friend) and ask, "If you were to die tonight, where would you go?" That approach always struck me as being a little contrived or dishonest. And I dislike trying to leverage fear to get the outcome you wanted. I don't see the great evangelist Paul using that approach anywhere in Acts or his letters.Where do you think your soul would be today if you died yesterday and what is your confidence level is for that being true?

If it were me I'd answer, straight up and on fire. But, one of my lab techs was a big Jimmy Buffet fan, so I thought about getting a t-shirt made that said,
"If the volcano were to blow tonight, do you know where you're a-gonna go?"
I am more interested in peoples honest level of confidence in their expectation. Are you 70%, 98%, 100% or whatever, confident that you are right?Good point.

Volcanos,ya know.
Is that a measurement of how much you trust Christ to save you, or of how confident you are in your own righteousness?I am more interested in peoples honest level of confidence in their expectation. Are you 70%, 98%, 100% or whatever, confident that you are right?
The second oneIs that a measurement of how much you trust Christ to save you, or of how confident you are in your own righteousness?
100% confidence,Where do you think your soul would be today if you died yesterday and what is your confidence level is for that being true?
We are supposed to have faith in the Lord, so our souls will be in heaven tomorrow, if we die today.Where do you think your soul would be today if you died yesterday and what is your confidence level is for that being true?
