Everlasting punishment...but what's the punishment?
It's death! Everlasting, eternal death. A death from which there will be no resurrection.

Mk 9:44 Where their worm dieth not,

Corpses. It's talking about corpses - not "disembodied souls" with worms crawling in and out. The bodies of heathen were not buried, but cast into the "city dump" of Jerusalem in the Valley of Gehena, where the fire is kept burning and the maggots continually feast on carcasses.

and the fire is not quenched!

2 Chronicles 36:19-21 KJV says Jeremiah's prophecy that Jerusalem was burned with "unquenchable fire" was fulfilled -- but is it still burning, or did the fire eventually burn itself out?

"Unquenchable fire" means no amount of human effort will succeed in quenching the fire, but "unquenchable fire" burns itself out, as was in the case of Jerusalem.

Traditionalists need to consider the whole of Scripture instead of carving out certain sections and excluding others which need to have their impact on this issue.

What do you mean when you say “he was not able to learn or be anointed as messiah”? He learned. He is the one God’s anointed one.
