Thankfully I live in Alabama .....We don't believe in Happy Holidays ......Christmas Trees are out, decorations and "MERRY Christmas" is shouted out.

We fly two flags here ......The United States Flag and the "Stars and Bars" as a reminder to the northern agressors .....stay home where you belong

I never even heard there was a problem with "Merry Christmas" till a political candidate a few years ago starting saying that we could say "Merry Christmas" again. When did we stop? We didn't. Just another thing to get folk going.
I live in Midwest, by the way.
When did Christmas trees go out? Our stores have tons of them at Christmas time.

They are idolising santa claws ? that's all that is going on, just like they have Gay pride day and I think that is on the cards too becoming a bigger event.
Thing is it's all about money ! you can not get rid of Gay pride day because it generates big money coming in to the community.

You can not get rid of this new age Santa because he is bigger than Jesus nowadays publicly, it's all about Santa and what does Santa bring that counts ? They or most do not like Jesus at all in fact. so Jesus has nothing at all to do with their Santa at all in fact.

Contrary to the popular theories haunting the internet, it's not Christians who have adopted pagan holidays, but pagans who have adopted Christian holidays, and twisted and distorted the religious aspects to try to make them acceptable to a secular society.

But the truth is ... for all their efforts to silence the Gospel that Christmas bears witness to, they have failed, and will forever fail. Even in the deepest reaches of the most anti-Christian regions of the world, the true story of Christmas shines through, and people the world over, no matter what religion or philosophy, whether Communist Chinese, Muslim Saudis, or American Wiccans, all know the message of Christmas whether they believe it or not, that "on this day, in the city of David, is born a savior, which is Christ the Lord."

Part of a religious organizations tax exempt status is the condition that they stay out of government. If a church is doing so then it deserves to have its tax exempt taken away.

does anybofy think there is a war on Christmas? although you can't force anybody to celebrate Christmas it seems to me that people are getting more & more offended by people saying Merry Christmas or even putting up Christmas trees, i even heard on the news that somebody got offended by a libiarie's Christmas tree and made them take it down, but i'm not surpised by this, does anybody else think there's a war on Christmas???

Like all things in the world today, Christmas has been taken completely out of context and has also fallen victum to the agenda of consumerism. Christmas is about the birth of Christ which ultimately is symbolic of birth itself. When we give out of the kindness of our heart people recieve our gift as a gift of compassion (holy spirit). When somone receives compassion they are born into a state of Heaven or are placed within the presence of God. This is the idea of Christmas, giving and receiving the Holy spirit. If you can seperate that from all the superficials of Christmas your in alignment with Truth.
