Decades of partying and sports. That was our foundation. But once I became serious about Jesus I discovered that my "friends" and some family never, ever, really loved me. I've shared the Word with them; they're not interested. Unless it's to talk football, they have no interest in me. Our "foundation" was no foundation at all. I have discovered that, when a relationship is founded on a love of Christ, it is real and it is forever.
