Questions for all:

1) is it possible for a genuine born again Christian to genuinely reject the gospel?

2) is it possible for a genuine born again Christian to genuinely reject the gospel and then genuinely repent towards Christ again?
I don't like to share my opinion about once saved always saved. It distracts from what's really important—making sure you're really saved.

I guess it depends on how they feel in their own hearts towards God, they are the only ones who can answer that, maybe they should pray for guidance and/or wisdom, pray for spiritual healing and intervention, pray that their heart may come to cChrist as fully as it was whne they had been saved.

You cant get around it, Jesus saves from unbelief !
He exhorts you to have faith in Him which is a choice that is made by every man whether to believe or not believe (Joshua 24:15, John 1:12, Revelation 3:20, Revelation 22:17)

May I ask, Whom does he exhorts?

Jesus saves by Grace, not by faith. Faith is the result of having been saved.
Jesus saves man by grace and man is saved by Jesus through faith ~ Salvation is by grace through faith.

By grace through faith. Faith comes before salvation.
Yes salvation is by grace, through faith.

Jesus saves man by grace and man is saved through faith.

If we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, then we have faith before we have grace.

It is a very simple deduction.
Here’s grace for your consideration.

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

So, we do not have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand?
The Christian have, but not others. Is that not what we understand in Romans 5:1-2?

Others can gain access into the grace that we have in Christ if they place their faith in Him.
That is even an IF. But as a better response, I would still refer you to the truth in Romans 5:8.

I haven’t heard you comment on the truth in Romans 5:8. What can you say?

Jesus saves unbelievers, He gives them faith and repentance when He saves them.
