Hi @sea_echols ; it's very worthwhile considering some of the great, doctrinal issues in Scripture; this is another thread that I started..........

but how do we settle it! Two born again spirit filled Christians can see the same scripture in two different ways such as Jn 3:5?
One says faith alone!
The other faith and baptismal regeneration!

Without Christ and his church exercising his authority how can you possibly settle it!

some say Dan 13 is inspired scripture some say not inspired scripture

how do we settle it?

If they are both born again spirit filled christians, why would you need to? They obviously both passed the required belief to be placed in a saved state.

You settle it, BY NOT setting a FALSE PREMISE, THEN WONDERING.

FAITH ALONE...to the day that person’s bodily death, will become saved on the day of his bodily death.

FAITH ALONE...and Baptismal regeneration...IS that person having BECOME bodily Dead, crucified with Christ...and IS SAVED.

you have no hope for Jn 8:32 without the teaching authority and of Christ in his church
Matt 18;17 must hear the church the pillar of truth 1 Tim 3:15 the light of the world Matt 5:14

You have hung your hat on FOLLOWING, instead of BEING the Church.
