if I have said wrong, bear witness to the wrong otherwise why try to align me with the negative?
I don't wish to align you with anything negative.
I think it is a bittersweet time we are seeing...bitter because of the evil taking place, sweet because Jesus is Coming SOON!!!

I certainly think we are called to be watching, but I also think we have to guard our hearts and minds as well. Satan tries to use evil to depress our spirits and drive the Joy and Love of the Holy Spirit out of us through things like this, and that we cannot allow to happen.

I was reminded in studying this Chapter of Proverbs just a few minutes ago. Even thinking about the evils they do can be like stepping on to the wrong path sometimes. As @amigo de christo pointed out, it can make you angry, and then your mouth will begin to speak "with perverse lips."

I know it can be true of me anyway.

14 Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of evil. 15 Avoid it do not travel on it; Turn away from it and pass on. 16 For they do not sleep unless they have done evil, and their sleep is taken away unless they make someone fall. 17 For they eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence.

18 But the path of the just is like the shining sun that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. 19 The way of the wicked is like darkness. They do not know what makes them stumble.

20 My son, give attention to my words. Incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Do not let them depart from your eyes. Keep them in the midst of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. 24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth and put perverse lips far from you. 25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you. 26 Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. 27 Do not turn to the right or the left, but remove your foot from evil. (Proverbs 4:14-27)

? ... because it's a Foundational aspect of CHRISTIANITY ... ?
BJ I have to say that you and HIH and others are incorrect on this subject. These Jews in this crafted and created political State with Zionist money and deceitful motives, called Israel, has nothing to do with the foundation of my Christian doctrines or beliefs. Christ and his ancestors yes of course...these modern self-styled Jews, no way..they are pretenders.....do the research....you see I disagree with you on a subject and because this one is a 'biggy' and matters to me....I have to tell you the truth else I would not be true to myself and you as a friend...APAK

Is Romans 11 part of your Christian doctrines and beliefs?
There is a remnant among them that will he enlightened. 1/3 = 5 million. This is not to mention the other doctrine in Revelation chapters 7 & 14 concerning the 144k. You need to study up more.

You speak from a false foundation friend. Of course the Remnant has been and is being saved and a few in the future according to the will of God. The problem with this cheap shot is that you think that the Jews today are the same as those in Christ's time and Paul etc. They are not the same people in blood and or spirit...you would be surprised who they are...

Therein is your problem and fantasy, and your theory that 1/3 = 5 million is a false path. I would abandon it if I were you so you can find some real truth and focus of Christ....I think you require much more study that I.

Anyway, good evening..APAK

No problems at all with you sharing your views, APAK. I'm very comfortable with it, and even grateful.

About current Israel, I don't think they are in the greatest place spiritually either, but then there were numerous times throughout the history of Israel in Old Testament times when they were far worse, sacrificing their children to pagan gods and such. But God never forsook them, and I believe the same is happening now. They are progressively moving towards the time where the prophesies regarding the tribulation period will be fulfilled, and many in the nation will finally turn to the Lord Jesus Christ as their Messiah, realizing that the Christian scriptures (and Christian prophecies in particular) were true.

Israel destroyed a tower in Gaza!

Dear FYD,

I expect that this is just the beginning of terrible things to come. And so I consider that these things must come to pass before Jesus Returns where we will have TRUE PEACE for 1,000 years. But in the meantime, this will be a very difficult time for mankind when our very survival will be put to the test. But GOD gives us guidance, wisdom, and HIS Presence to assure us in all things.

With VERY Best Regards,
Bobby Jo (and ELAM nodding in agreement  )

Quiet, discussing scripture itself is not supposed to be viewed as if it is doomed to "go nowhere." I'm willing to if you are.

For instance, in Post #53 Mark shared a few passages from Zechariah. Neither of them were passages I was thinking of bringing up but both are valid. What would be your defense in saying the following passage is NOT about literal Israel?

8) In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them. 9) And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10) And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
To put it briefly, this is speaking of the New Jerusalem mentioned in Revelation after the Millennium. Israel is the name that's given to all God's people as opposed to 'Jacob'.

144,000 will be saved...correct? And what we think if them is not what God says to do...we are to pray for Israel....
That's all...

More Jews have come to Christ in the past twenty years that in the past two thousand.

Hi @Heart2Soul , I'm wondering which Israel is discussed in the prophecies you've mentioned. Are you certain it's refering to the current nation of Israel? I know the scriptures refer to grafting people into Israel:

Romans 11:24
“For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?”

Isaiah 2:v.10-21
10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty.
11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that (this) Day. --->The Lord's Day <---

The mterial things are figures of spiritual things

12 For the Day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he
shall be brought low: 13 And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,
14
And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up, 15 And upon every high tower, and upon very
fenced wall, 16 And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures. 17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low:
and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that (this) Day.

--->The Lord's Day <--- 18 And the idols he shall utterly abolish.

Revelation 6:v.14 - And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of His majesty, when He arises to shake terribly the earth.

20 In that Day (in this Day, the Lord's Day) a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his Majesty, when he arises to shake terribly the earth.

Revelation 6:v.15-17

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great Day of His wrath -the Lord's Day - is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Revelation 7:1 to 4

1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand (no more, no more) of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

Revelation 11:v. 1-2
1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

2 But the COURT which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. - 1,260 days - the FIRST half of the last week Daniel 9:v.27 - it is given unto the Gentiles ruled by the Beast of sea - Rev. 13:v.5 -

There will be War - Revelation 16:v. 13 to 16

Revelation 11:v. 3-4 and 6
And I will give power unto my two witnesses (the two olive trees , a source of oil , the God's people will need much oil) - and two candlesticks , the two Churches - and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days ... 1, 260 days -, clothed in sackcloth (Esther 4:v.1-17)
These have power to shut heaven (end of Dispensation-the door is closed, no salvation, but plagues, great punishments), that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters -over peoples, and nations, and multitudes and tongues - to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

Be careful or get ready

After wards will be established the Abomination of Desolation - more 1,290 days - second half of the last week Daniel 9:v.27.

Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. Dan.12:12

Revelation 2:v. 25 to 29

25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the END -1 Corinthians 15:v.24 to 27 -, to him will I give power over the nations:

27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

28 And I will give him the morning star.

29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

I'm with QT in this. Focusing on the literal nation of Israel is a deception. Such doesn't mean we are not interested in prophecy, in fact quite the opposite. It is a more accurate perspective of prophecy that identifies the real Antichrist and where the action is actually taking place and not a red herring. The final days isn't just about war and judgement. Jesus warned that almost everyone would be deceived... Even the church... Regarding the last days and the movements thereof. Only the elect would be spared. That 90% of the Christian Church are all looking at the middle east ought to be of grave concern to ask those in that group. When has the majority ever been right about anything?

Guess where Jesus will return.

Zechariah 14:1-12 (NKJV)
1 Behold, the day of the LORD is coming, ...
2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; ...
3 Then the LORD will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle.
4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east.

12 And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.

Preterist and Futurist theologies come from the Jesuit machinery as a defence in an attempt to throw into confusion the Protestant voice of identifying Babylon/Antichrist as the Roman Catholic system and the bait has been taken by the Protestant movement. It is in fact a tool used to get Protestants back to Rome....and that, with outstanding success.

2 Thessalonians 2

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God ( in Jerusalem) , shewing himself that he is God.

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause GOD shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (As JESUS said: John 5:v.43 to 47)

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

John 3:v. 36 - 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Thanks for the reply, Quiet.

My first response to that would be that scripture promises He will wipe away ever tear. Yet this passage has them mourning and in bitterness after the kingdom of God has been established on earth for the One they have pierced.

How do you account for that? Doesn't seem consistent with the post-millennium narrative as described in Revelation.

How am I being led back to Rome by believing Rome is the Whore of Babylon described in Revelation 17 & 18?

If they are trying to lead me and others back to them through that theology, that doesn't seem like a very sound plan.
