Hey there Marlene

Hoping you are doing well.
Are you sleeping any better these days.
Last night I “felt like” I woke up every ten mins... I just seemed to does all night.
Now I have to go to work. It will be a long tiring day.

But, weather is lovely, so no complaints there.
Hope you tummy is behaving it’s self now. I remember you ate dairy at Chridtmas and messed it up.

Yes, dairy its gotten worse for me..... Old age must not help at all. Its way different now.

Im 77 , so I only work two mornings a week now.
I work in my son-in-laws office...he is a plastic surgeon in one of the hospitals here in the city. ( I live in a big city...I liked it better before , before it hit 1,000,000 people...we are WELL over a million here now, probably one and a half now.
Thankfully we live one the edge of it...not far from the mountains.
A few KL and we are out of town. I never go Down Town...once in a blue moon we have to go to some specialist which is right down town...but not often.

Oh Helen, I thought every one stopped working in there 60's....
But if your helping family, I guess that is way different. Hope your able to keep it up and not hurt.
The children are now watching a movie about a dog and the war, and I do not want to
watch that, it seemed like war's were all I knew back in my early day's..
My Pa was in it and my brother, and my husband....... we did not have TV and all I remember is
the radio talking about the war and in the news paper also........
So I had enough of that.....
Oh, mountains, in the movies I have seen they look so nice.
I grew up in Detroit, and it was not that good, later in life.......

cold all the time. But I can understand one part they are comfortable with it.... and he does
not need more heating bills, they he all ready has. I do buy the grocery's once a week but with
such a large family so does he..... money goes to fast over here.....

Maybe your son doesn't know that when we get older our blood is not as thick..and we are always cold...my feet are always freezing cold!!

Can't you get a little electric heater in your room...you don't move as fast as them...and with their moving around, I'm sure they don't notice the cold. It is miserable being cold, I hate it!

Sorry that you feel yucky with your tummy.
I does seem a bit mean when a person is old, and told that they cannot have extra heat! As you contribute to the grocery bills it only seem right that you are allowed to be warn in the daytime, you can't stay in bed all day to stay warm....hope that it all works out okay.

Colder here today..but still not brutally cold. So, we stay happy and content.

had much.... We are supposed to get some, tonight or tomorrow night ? my son mentioned ?

I guess I had some kind of bug ? I cant remember having dairy ? Unless my D. I.L. goofed up
and gave me some or the wrong dish ? That could be possible, fixing for 11 of us is quite a job?
Would you not think so ? That would be way to much for me, at this age of course , maybe in
my fifty's .........
I am much better I took a walk to mail my letter to Sally.[ "the mail box is just far enough for a short walk for me......." ] I write to her at least twice a week.
She is not able to send on the computer any more, she did it on her daughters, but the daughter
switched to a phone. No more computer for her......... So how is your day going ?
I sure like this forum..... I did have one I liked as well and for quite a few years, but for some reason the lady had to close it down, never found out why ? She was in Canada !

I am not doing well...and I haven’t been on here today.
I messed up my back...now I am in agony. I HATE pain pills...but I am taking them to sleep and function. Back later....

Oh dear, sorry to hear of your injury.
The thing is, we have trouble sleeping at the best of times..and with pain it makes it nearly impossible!

I am still popping Tylenol , but it doesn't seem to make much difference.
I made a mistake yesterday...thinking that maybe I could get some relief for my back if I lay on the floor on my back.
WOW!! BAD idea!!

After a few moments I thought , "this is WORSE.." But, I rolled on my side , but couldn't get UP!!
I called Dave, and he struggled with me while I screamed....but he finally got me up. Not going to try that again!!!

I sure hope you are doing better ! I'm not sure how I am doing ? I hope its not the bone ?
So it will go away with out going to the doctor.. I was hoping it would be better, do not know
if its better to walk or sit, which will make it better......? Its been at least five hours
I guess I will have to wait till tomorrow to see if I need a doctor....... Because it really is painful.

Is it swollen at all?

No, walking is not good on top of damage..sit with it elevated.
If you have any ice...then ice it, wrapped in a tea towel, so it's not too cold or damage the skin. If you don't have a soft ice bag , then use a small pack of peas wrapped in a tea towel.

But the steady pain has left me finally.....only when I walk on it I feel pain and not as bad as
it was....... I have noticed after having pain, when it gets easy you can remember how bad
it really was !!! And this one was really bad, I wanted to go to the doctor or the hospital and
my son said wait and they gave me those pills, they helped, glad now that I did not go....

And your feeling better today at least some what !
I guess I have a few more day's with my ankle hurting and swollen! I would guess at least
another week....... it feels the same as yesterday, so its not going to go away for a while..
I am going to miss out on watching my Grand daughter do weight lifting tomorrow..

I have booked an appointment with the chiropractor on Monday.
The pain has been very bad, I just hope he doesn't hurt me...I am a coward with pain. I dread the nights, they were the worst. I get out of bed many times during the night.
