John the Baptist never saved anyone with water.

I have, in my FULL study of baptismS, a Couple Of Very Troubling Verses:

Luk 7:29 And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
Luk 7:30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.

The only reconciliation I have found is in Rightly Dividing God's Word Of Truth

Salvation.

The Gospel of Christ is the power of God to Salvation for anyone who believes.

It’s the change of being given a new heart from God and the spirit.

Be encouraged to read your Bible and you will be renewed in your mind as you go along.

Once you realize that you are a child of God because of faith and God had given you the hilt spirit and the spirit of Christ is within you.

Move forward from the doctrines of Christ and try to keep growing into a mature Son or Daughter of God. By growing in your knowledge of God and the Lord.
