What are some little things that make you happy? Little pleasures you are thankful for? Jesus is always the top of the list, but what else? 3 to 5 of them...

1. My kitties sitting on my lap with a content demeanor.
2. The look on my wife's face when I do something special for her.
3. The refreshing feeling after a good 7 hours of sleep (rare for me).
4. Bills paid.
5. Riding my bicycle with no real destination, but riding like it's crucial to get there.

There are many more... But those came to mind.

There are many more... But those came to mind.

1) Grandchildren. They make me happy. They say and do the sweetest things. Seeing them grow is a pleasure. Hugs are the best!
2)going to eat with my husband. He always takes me to the good places. Usually steak, or Mexican, or a big burger from college barbecue.
3) a good day with my mom who is 93. Feeling like I was productive and had energy to do the things needful around her home. Not being frustrated but positive. I have bad days. Good days make me happy.
4) here’s a weird one. Resting at night watching a Korean drama. No one in my family understands why I watch them and read the subtitles. But there are so many that are clean, PG 14. They make me laugh similar to old shows like I love Lucy. Very cheesy but afterwards another thing that makes me happy is…
5) putting in my earbuds and listening to Proverbs on Audio. No matter how many times I listen I always hear something new. Reading His word and learning something new about God that destroys a falsehood I believed makes me happy. his word can turn my negativity around better and faster than my depression medication.

Kittens make me happy too!
