Little Things That Make You Happy

What are some little things that make you happy? Little pleasures you are thankful for? Jesus is always the top of the list, but what else? 3 to 5 of them...

1. My kitties sitting on my lap with a content demeanor.
2. The look on my wife's face when I do something special for her.
3. The refreshing feeling after a good 7 hours of sleep (rare for me).
4. Bills paid.
5. Riding my bicycle with no real destination, but riding like it's crucial to get there.

There are many more... But those came to mind.

3. a refreshing diet coke
4. Large Chips and Queso Dip (have this everyday for lunch at Del Taco)

1) Riding my bike along with my wife on the local trail. 2) Walking (not running) on my treadmill. 3) being around my squirrels and talking to them. 4) The thrill of learning more about the Lord in my daily bible studies. Not necessarily in this order but all have the makings for a good day.

Here they also have 'quesadillas', which is cheese between tortillas, and often other things added, besides.

As you say.
1 waking up with God in the morning.
2. family and friends.
4. A husband who loves cooking! :)
5 . Always a good book. A warm and cozy bed.
6 A stupid old dog who takes my husband for a walk twice a day.
7 And that my husband of 81 years can still play squash three times a week!

What's queso dip ?

It is so yummy, it's White Cheese that I dip nacho chips in. The dip at Del Taco has some jalapeno in, it's a bit spicy . I just found a record store in my town and got 3 for a dollar each. My favorite record so far is the Christian band Burlap to Cashmere

God's grace is sufficient, but I have many blessings small and large:

The small are:

1. my daughter's nap time (which are usually mine too)
2. Morning Columbian coffee in a Keurig.
3. A nice fun day at the park in spring.
4. A cat cuddling up against me at night (and a husband on nights he is off)
5. Watching my daughter play and just be her happy self.

I do love nachos though, we usually have them with melted cheddar cheese.
Records are doing a come back over here in the uk as well - sadly, for me, it's old records from my past that I love, 60's and 70's - I often clean while I am listening to them. At work we have the old songs on for the residents- so me and the carers are often singing along, kind of lifts the mood.

Little things that make me happy ~

Random notes to and from my sweetheart.
Seeing our kids.
Out of the blue calls from old friends.
Communication with our dog.
Having a plant appearing dead, spring back.
Interaction with Babies.
Helping people in Grocery Stores.
Walks in the woods.
Drives in the country.
Popcorn with a glass of milk.
Learning new tips /aka/ hacks.
Music that sparks a memory or ear pleasure.
Everything organized.
Finding something I thought I had lost.
Killing that one annoying fly in the house...lol

The big things are family etc. Little things that make me happy are:

1. Apple Pie
2. Cheese
3. Working on Cars
4. Board Games
5. Nature
