The scripture verses below would not even be in God’s Word if it were not possible for someone to get
born again and fall away from the Lord later and end up being separated from the Lord for eternity in hell

It's sad to hear some folks just can't be bothered with ALL of what God says in His Word as they only believe a few things He says are actually true!



1 Corinthians 9:27
I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Castaway (G0096 in Strong's) = unapproved, rejected, worthless, reprobate.

This is the same greek word used in Romans 1:28 when the Lord turned those over to a reprobate mind who refused retain God in their knowledge and walk with Him.

This means, Paul believed that if he did not control himself and went back to walking after the fleshm HE would be unapproved, rejected, worthless, reprobate!

Obviously the Apostle Paul did not believe in "once saved, always saved" aka "eternal security"

James 5:19,20
Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
Let him know, that he which converts the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
*By addressing this to “brethren” we know this is speaking to believers who turned from the truth and if they are converted back to the truth, the soul of the person that had fallen away is being saved from spiritual death which is separation from God.

Colossians 1:21-23
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
IF ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven.

*A condition is given here to be righteous before the Lord which is IF we continue in the faith.

Matthew 10:22
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endures to the end shall be saved.

Jude 1:5,6
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

*If once saved always saved was true, then the Lord would not be speaking thru Jude to put us in remembrance about what happened to those that quit believing (turned their backs on the Lord to live in opposition to Him which is to live in sin).

*If angels having been created perfect turn away from the Lord and be separated from Him forever, we would experience the same. Thankfully, the Lord has provided a way for man to confess and forsake sin in order to receive mercy (see Proverbs 28:13), but if we continue in our sin we will not have mercy due having turned away from the Lord

1 Timothy 4:1
Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils
*This is speaking of those that were once in the faith having become born again believers and later turned away from the Lord.

Hebrews 10:26
For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins

*If we knowing and willing continue in sin, Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross is no longer applicable and there will be no new sacrifice for sin forthcoming other than what Jesus has already done at the Cross. One must cease from sin for the work of Christ to be applicable to them.

Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

*One must cease from sin for the work of Christ to be applicable to them.

*This indicates that these folks were born again and they had "fallen from grace" because they turn away from trusting in Jesus for their salvation.

There is absolutely nothing in that scriptures you posted , that is referring to a “ True Born Again “.....

There is absolutely nothing in that scriptures you posted , that is referring to a “ True Born Again “.....

OK, for starters.... do you believe the Apostle Paul was a born again Christian???

Your theology is flawed, imo/belief.

I have posted scripture stating this.that a Born Again can never lose their salvation..providing they have been birthed in the spirit.no good flogging a dead horse...so at the moment I will leave it there.

That's not what the whole counsel of God teaches!

There's much more in God's Word concerning salvation than the select few happy verses which is all you read and accept.

To hold the OSAS position one cannot accept all that the Lord has to say concerning the subject of salvation... which is explains why the OSAS peoples have to do all the shuck-N-jive:stageright:

Anyway, I will leave it there, I pray that the Lord will lead you to his truth....that a Born Again can NEVER in a million years be U.N.- birthed in the Spirit..

AgaIn..this is NOT referring to the Born Again.

Heb 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
Heb 6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
Heb 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

The writer of hebrews mentioned, about people who were enlightened and had come to realize the truth in Christ, and even tasted the heavenly gift (the holy spirit, by being partakers, of the holy Spirit of God.) And having heard the good news of God, and the powers of the world to come (the spiritual realm), If they shall fall away, (it is up to us to); help renew them again unto changing their mind into loving God and loving of others, seeing that they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to open shame. I do believe this writer of hebrews is refering to those who revert back to obeying the law, and using it for righteousness instead of relying on the righteousness that comes from Christ and is also the wisdom of God, and also leads to sanctification as they go about their life in proceeding in faith to seek God and to love their neighbor as their self. Of course in the end it is up to the individual whether or not they will go more towards the light or towards the darkness, therefore encouragement by the spirit to bring joy, and delight, and kindness, is abiding in Christ and allowing the good works of God to be done in and through you as you trust in the FAther in heaven, and have fellowship with God and the Son of God.

You must have missed the part where the Lord said thru Paul in this verse... "they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables"

God's Word IS Truth (John 17:17), so this is speaking about people who WERE following God's Word who turned away from God's Word and started following fables.

This is clearly speaking to Christians whether you believe it is or not.

Where the word of God says a Born Again can lose their salvation and be U.N.- birthed in the Spirit ..then I will believe you and not until.

The scripture you posted has got nothing to do with a Born Again..imo/ belief.

I do believe this writer of hebrews is refering to those who revert back to obeying the law

And for us gentiles it's applicable to us if we turn back to living our old life... having taken off the new man and putting the old man back on to serve our flesh to walk in the sinful pleasures of this life having turned away from the Lord.

The followup scriptures you posted are true... but other verses warning we can be lost IF we turn back to living in sin are equally as true!

Unless you want to claim one can live in sin and be a Christian too?

Answer me this...how can the seed of God indwell a sinner?

How can a Born Again be in darkness?...

What about the spiritual birth...?

What about the flesh?

How do you know your in the flesh?

This is the whole point about WHY the doctrine of OSAS is not a true biblical teaching.

Man has free will... God gave us that, so if a man gets born again and then starts listening to the devil and decides to sin.... he has of his own free will chosen to turn away from the Lord and go back to doing sin.

When one does this, they are no longer in right standing with the Lord and if they die in this condition they'll go to hell.

This is WHY the Lord warns us to NOT do this, and it's WJHY He put things in His Word to teach us what to do IF we were to listen to the devil and go back to living in sin... just like the prodical sin, the Lord wants us to come back to Him so He says...

Proverbs 28:13
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Your theology is flawed, imo/belief.

I have posted scripture stating this.that a Born Again can never lose their salvation..providing they have been birthed in the spirit.no good flogging a dead horse...so at the moment I will leave it there.
If i am in Christ I have been made new, I am a new creation. The old has gone. There is no more old me.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
