Voted today to keep Trump off the ballot.
The whole state or it's elected ppl who do not represent all its constituents?

Can they do that per the Constitution & Declaration ?

My bad. It was the Secretary of State who says no, he cannot be on the ballot.

As to Colorado.. I just heard no one can write in his name out there.
Colorado's was done by the Colorado supreme court.

I heard Colorado will now let Trump be on the ballot (on the radio when I was driving). Is that true?

It's all just a Marxist power grab. Marxists never worry about the rules. For them, the end justifies any means. Cheat, lie, murder, whatever it takes to gain power and enslave the populace.

I wouldn't be particularly surprised at this point if the country starts to spilt
Yes and I'm thinking there may also be a civil war again but it will be between the all ethnicities in this country.

Great question.

I heard the same thing last night... somewhere on Fox.

But now they are still talking about SCOTUS weighing in on things???

Democrats complain about Republicans being a danger to democracy, and then they won't let the leading Republican be on the ballot.
Well, maybe they believe that there was a trump inspired insurrection.

Insurrection? Some people protested the election, believing it was fraudulent. That isn't an insurrection.
We must have watched different programs that day. I must've seen the same thing that the Maine and Colorado folk saw. You must be a NEWSMAX fan.

Never heard of NEWSMAX.

They said all these people got killed at the "insurrection." In fact the only person that got killed was a Trump supporter. There were two heart attacks, an overdose, and four suicides, and some Democrats claimed these were the result of an "insurrection," but you and I know better.

The latest on Maine cutting Trump from the ballot ...That woman, MS Bellows. (perfect name cause she sure does blow hot air and a lot of it..... Anyway she says it is alleged that Mr. Trump violated his oath of office because he engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the United States or has given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.

That it , the constitution, does not say he had to be part of it. And so he did not need to.
(This is her interpretation)

Well, be that the case... why are the capitol police who led the Shaman Jacob Chansley, thorough the halls of capitol and to the door of the Senate floor....

why are they still working and not charged with anything. They WERE not only complicit but very, very very involved.

One article says while they did so we don't know the time of day so it was not during the riots......
???
???
???
???
?

Yet, the capitol police showed him the way while he was dressed like that..... on that specific day.

If you want to see the video just tell me and I'll get it to post for you.

THERE WAS NO INSURECTION. PERIOD. A RIOT YES. AND INSURRECTION NO.

It was an attempted overthrow/
By whom?

Paul Waldman’s column in Tuesday’s Washington Post was rooted in one compelling statistic, borrowed from research done by University of Chicago political scientist Robert Pape, who analyzed the identities of the 377 people who were arrested in the violent, lethal, Trump-incited Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol Building.

The 377 people did not come from pro-Trump counties. In fact, the majority of them came from “blue counties that [Joe] Biden won comfortably,” Pape found. But he also analyzed recent demographic changes in the home counties of the protesters, leading him to this finding:

National Guard Deployment. National Guard members didn’t arrive at the Capitol on Jan. 6 until about 5:40 p.m., when most of the violence had already subsided.

Bipartisan Report Didn’t ‘Single Out’ Trump. In the summer, a bipartisan group of four senators released a report on the security and intelligence failures related to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. All four — Democratic Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Gary Peters, and Republican Sens. Roy Blunt and Rob Portman — have previously said that Trump was at least partly responsible for the attack, but their report did not “single out” Trump “for inciting … the riots,” as a Facebook post from a liberal advocacy group suggested.

So, I wont post more that will go unread but again ask by whom because there are so many that tell that it was not by Trump.

But it is a reasonable belief for you to have to avoid voting for him ...
