No. Not at all. The Holy spirit would not do what a nightclub hypnotist would do.
But a night club hypnotist might do what God did the same
as Pharaoh's sorcerers did what Moses did. Judging by what you said,
Moses stuff was quackery.

Based on what you are saying and reasoning, the nightclub hypnotist turns people into barking dogs and jungle animals because God did it first once upon a time. OK, Got it!

Heres a clip of the Toronto laughter manifestation that was sweeping the charismatic churches.
anyone have a bible verse?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wn6FF5nhTSs
I was going through some things and the Lord led me to Psalm 35. Everything in that chapter was talking about exactly what was going on in my life. This was after i prayed. When i started reading i was crying. It was like he was having a conversation with me but i was just listening. I was just crying till i got to verse 8 and he said "And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation". When i read that i started laughing and couldnt stop. I can truly say it was joyful. I looked in the mirror(i was sitting on the side of my bed) to see my face. I couldnt believe what was happening. It was the first time i ever had anything happen like that in my life. I had an experience with Jesus. People criticize cuz they never had that "personal contact" with Him. I had knew Him(walked with Jesus) 7 years and never had anything like this. The new birth

Thats nice you had an epiphany, I hope and pray it is genuine. What I mean is comparing your experience with this video troubles me to say the least.
The topic has moved toward the power of suggestion as a hypnotist would use and the video IMO demonstrates that thesis.

I hope you have many more meaningful encounters in the power of the HS, I have, but not a single one slightly resembled this.
You can call me deceived, unsaved, never having experienced the power of the Holy Spirit, that is quite exceptable and a form of confirmation that the Spirit that dwells with-in me doesn't recognize such manifestations as being from the Spirit I follow.

I won't quibble nor presume to exult myself by sharing the years or experiences I have seen, "praise comes from another mans mouth and not your own"
But rather work out your own salvation, but be warned, your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
I can only hope and pray your experience was the result of true suffering and the revelation of Christ Jesus.
5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for

“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”[b]

6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because[c] your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 10 But may[d] the God of all grace, who called us[e] to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 11 To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
May you continue to experience the water of life from the well that flows from Christ.
And If your well over flows into the streets let them be your alone Proverbs 5:15-17
But watch out for the adulteress

20 Why should you be intoxicated, my son, with a forbidden woman
and embrace the bosom of an adulteress?

Rex i didnt even watch the video, i just was responding to the " does anyone have a bible verse" part. I work at a school and im catching wifi so it wont let me view videos. But if something is truly from God then your life will speak for itself. By the way the next day i was wondering(within myself) why everyone was looking at me strange at work. Went and opened up my bible and the Lord led me to "ye are the light of the world, a house on a hill cannot be hid". All glory to His name. God bless

Not a problem and completely understandable, Maybe you can look at my reply and see both my encouragement towards you as well as my confusion with your quoting my post.

If you have not watched the video that I asked for a verse on, then your reply didn't include my entire question.

God bless and welcome home, seeking has paid off.
Luke 11:9-10
That sounds like a genuine testimony, and something I believe others should take note of, many seek but few find, and just as many claim to have found.

I found that the Spirit I received came with continued perseverance and searching for Christ myself.

All is well. I appreciate your encouraging words and i understand your confusion. & thats completely true that you have to really persevere and seek what you want. You shall have it. Deep calleth unto deep.. If youre longing for something theres has to be something to answer that longing. God bless
